A list of puns related to "Borough Park, Brooklyn"
Hey guys! I'm in FL and finally moving up to NY with my boyfriend. We're going to get a 1 bed most likely.
About me: I'm 22 with my bachelors in Social Work, I'm south asian, understand/speak some Spanish, love asian food /hispanic so much but it seems like in bay ridge area there's not much of that but its pretty safe. Our budget is 1700$.
Our priorities are being near subway, safety, groceries near by, and food options.
Things we don't care about? Bars, because we don't drink.
Any recommendations for different areas/ or experiences with the areas you can give me?
I haven't looked into bath beach or the surrounding areas yet that much.
His work is in downtown Dekalb area, so a place that can be close to there would be nice
Thanks so much
Update: Found a place due to your recommendations! Thanks so much, will be in NY in January!

Hey all! My friend and I are both students in New York (Parsons and Pratt respectively) and originally had a third roommate but after talking we came to the conclusion that the place we're looking to seal in Borough Park really only suited two of us as my other roommate is looking to be deeper in Manhattan due to work. Needless to say, we're looking to find a new third roommate for a place in Borough Park! The apartment we're looking at is in a predominantly Chinese neighborhood with a ton of good markets and restaurants around and easy access to an N train stop (just a 5-6 minute walk). The rent is 2800 a month and there is a brokers fee (first months rent) which we're looking to split evenly.
A little bit about myself: I'm studying architecture at Pratt and will be very frequently out of the apartment due to the intensity of the program. I like to keep a tight ship, though, I will admit sometimes things get hectic and I lose track a bit. However, I'm the type to--when the weekend comes--take time out of my morning or day to make sure I've cleaned up the week's mess in the event I was too busy during the week to clean everything as well as I like to. I'm pretty outgoing and friendly and pretty patient and I stress the importance of communication so I will not ignore you in the event you want to talk to me about something regarding the apartment or just life. As for my friend who I'll also be living with, he's a design student at Parsons who's also friendly and patient but is a little bit more quiet. He's still a great guy and super chill and patient. He'll also be out of the apartment a lot for school and will be commuting to Manhattan via the N train. I like to cook a lot too and am willing to work on a schedule or work together if you are also interested in cooking your meals frequently. My goal is to be as good of a roommate as possible and to keep a clean place, what you do with your room is completely up to you but my friend and I do expect that you'll put the effort in to keep the common spaces clean and clutter free. Please pm me if you're interested and I'll send you images of the place and then we can go from there! Thanks so much!!
**Move-in date is ASAP
