We've got Drakkon and the Ranger Slayer, Psycho Green, the 1969 Rangers, the Solar Rangers and the Omega Rangers, and now we're getting a new Dairanger team. And that's awesome. I love comics-only Rangers.
But the main story has been set "in between episodes" pretty much from day one. So we always know how it's going to end. The Rangers will be victorious against the Empyreals, and sometime after that battle, we'll have a time skip. Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa will marry, Rito Revolto will show up with the Tenga Warriors, the Rangers will need a powerup, and they'll seek out Ninjor.
And then the next arc will start.
Well, what if Boom! diverged from established canon? What if instead of being "dinosaur Rangers with animal Zords", Ninjor changed their suits, too? Keep the Alien Rangers as the Kakuranger adaptations, but instead, we start with the Ninja Rangers from day one, instead of picking up six months down the line after they've already had a bunch of adventures.
Give them a costume redesign, something like the below pic, where it pays homage to the Mighty Morphin costumes, but reflects their new powerup, and then we see them right from the beginning, fighting Rito and the Tenga, meeting Ninjor, but it diverges enough from the TV show that everything isn't such a foregone conclusion.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I'd like to see the Rangers I grew up with, through fresh eyes. And seeing them fight what amount to "side stories" for the past (nearly) 6 years is starting to tire me out.

I've read at least 6 issues of Boom's reboot, I didn't really like the run from Dark horse comics, has anybody read both to the point they can give opinions whether if this reboot is better than season 8?

Now Zeo is a long way away. We're barely in what is basically S3 from the show. Mabye in 3 - 5 years we'd have Zeo.
I haven't watched Zeo since it aired, when I was 4/5, but from what I remember the original Gold Ranger was Trey. A 3-n-1 person, basically.
Jason had to give back the Gold Ranger power because it was too much for one person to handle.
My solution is to have the Gold Ranger power be split among three Rangers that when morph combine into one.
The Rangers being Billy, Matt, and Skull.
Jason should continue being the Red Omega Ranger.
Billy should have been the Gold Ranger in the Show.
Matt will probably loose the Green Ranger powers at some point before Zeo.
Skull would make a great Ranger. At least Skull from the comics.
Are the deluxe editions suppose to come wrapped in plastic in delivery or are they just the books? I ask bc I ordered Necessary Evil Part 1 and it’s wrapped in plastic but Beyond the Grid just showed up with no plastic at all. I’m just asking so I know if I need to return it for another or not. Thanks!

Anyway, any fans out there? I could easily see this become a miniseries on TV or something. I don't want to give away any spoilers atm, so I'll just say it's a monster hunter story with a fresh take. It gives me IT vibes with a bold dash of Supernatural. I can't wait to read more!

I myself would like a Carter Grayson comic of him traveling around the country helping people. Old west style. Whenever there's trouble he tries to solve a diplomatically but isn't afraid to get forceful if needed. Maybe some demons return any has to hunt them down.

The son of Joshua, Margaret and Warren Ampersand, brother of Finn and Jermaine and Gata, boyfriend of Lady Ranicorn, father of Kim Kil Whan, Charlie, Viola, T.V and Jake Jr. and hero of Ooo, the life of Jake the Dog closely resembled that of his T.V show counterpart. There were some differences to their lives, such as the Lich attempting to put the planet into a Bag of Holding and throwing it into the sun, being stopped by the inhabitants of Ooo and getting thrown into the sun as a result instead of reaching the Time Room and wishing for the extinction of all life, the cosmic representations of the four elements (fire, ice, candy and slime) arriving to devour Earth, or Princess Bubblegum’s failed attempt to create an heir attempting to take over the minds of the world (hey wait a second). Even with all this, Jake stayed relatively similar to show Jake, adventuring with Finn and helping people.

The main reason some comics have not shipped is that we hit some challenges with our supply chain for bags and boards. Our order for September was canceled and will not be able to ship until December. We have been working to find replacements, and while it is not an easy feat, we have found a solution thanks to the amazing team at BCW. We have worked out a deal to have a better supply of these items for the future. We are expecting a large shipment to arrive at our fulfillment center soon and we can resume shipping your comics. In the meantime, we have used this time to continue to improve our shipping methods and have now upgraded our mailers with thicker cardboard to double the thickness of our previous mailers to reduce the number of damages incurred during transit. We added a pop-up to the store now that we will be updating daily as we get more info from our partners. The latest update came on 10/18 where the team at BCW confirmed they received boards to fulfill our order and were working on providing us a timeline on when they will be shipping to us.
