Cue eye rolling.

So I came across a word today in my reading that I had heard before and was able to deduce it's likely meaning based in the context it was used, however, to be safe, I looked it up anyway and while reading the book definition came up with what I hope is an original pun (phrase)...

Context: When someone is giving you a hard time you can say, "stop basting my Lamb, you lamb-baster"

lambaste - criticize (someone or something) harshly

Earlier my family was having a conversation about all the movies based on comic books that have been coming out. Later we were watching tv when a trailer for Exodus came on and this exchange happened.

Sister, "See it's not all comic book movies, some are based on the bible too."

Dad chimes in, "The world's first comic book."

Me: This movie is based around a paradox. Mom: A book? Me: No. Do you know what a paradox is? Dad: A surgeon and a general practitioner.

He posted a photo on his Facebook of the semen-based recipe book and made some really bad semen puns and so did all of his friends.
