A list of puns related to "Bonnie Bennett"
My VERY popular opinion: Bonnie deserved so much better in the show. Thatβs it.
Could you see the actress for Bonnie being a good fit for the new sister? Which actresses do you guys think would be a good fit?
This is not to say that Julie Plec and Caroline Dries don't deserve the heat they get for how Bonnie was treated nor am I ignoring what happened with Kat's character on season 4 and plus with Julie and Caroline at the helm, but Kevin Williamson was there for season 1 - 2 and even helped develop storylines for season 3. He was there when Bonnie would just have unexplained absences and her, at times, forgotten storyline (I thought she had arguably the most intriguing one), lack of proper love interest, and used/regulated to the "magical negro" trope, but he never gets slack for it? I imagine one day Kat Graham will feel comfortable opening up about her experiences on TVD and the racism and ugliness she had deal with on set, but people always single out Plec and Dries. I know Kevin W was basically what made those first seasons so iconic and I do believe he is the better writer out of the three but I do feel like he is just as responsible since he was also the show runner for season 1 & 2?
Any thoughts?
Is Bonnie a hybrid? I knew she was a witch and a psychic but I thought those were one and the same. Like I thought every witch was oneβ¦. But no?
And I know there was also Cade. I know heβs a psychic for sure, but is he also a witch because he did creat Hell.
Just finished watching all 8 seasons and God ! I know many people die, suffer all along, but Bonnie ? That woman ainβt have a consecutive 2 minutes of happiness. The character exists only to sacrifice everything for everyone else sake. Even at the end the only person willing to put her first (Enzo) dies, and the show tries to convince us she will remain happy too, with a dead-ghost-spirit boyfriend πΆ
And I canβt stop but thinking how her character - and kinda all Bennett witches through ages and other black characters - are very rooted in black trauma porn.
Just keeping it short but I was debating with some friends and then thought did the Bennett witch bloodline ended there after 1,000 years or did she finally found someone. If you think she got kids then how you think her story of being a Bennett continues?
I don't know about anyone else but I would love to see Bonnie Bennett on Legacies and maybe become a staff member. Besides didn't all the teachers quit?
How on earth did Matt Donovan get one of the characters to play him in the musical and not Bonnie Bennett who literally saved Mystic Falls (and the whole world) from destruction?!
I thought this was beef between Julie Plec and Kat Graham? Why extend the beef to the character? I understand that we might never get Bonnie to show her face on screen again for obvious reasons, but this was the perfect opportunity for a Bonnie representation since one of the characters/actresses would be playing her for the musical.
Why did Julie Plec exclude Bonnie Bennett but Matt Donovan gets someone to play him? I donβt want to believe sheβs a redneck racist like tons of people and fans are saying but damn girl, show some dignity and pretend a little. The only way I mightnβt consider this racist is if there were legitimate production/casting/technical issues as to why Bonnie was missing from the Musical.
If you think about it, it makes sense. Pedro is a witch and he's close to lizzie and Josie with no explanation.
Bonnie never gets any guy. I mean who did she have: Ben (who pretended), Luka (who wanted to use her), Jeremy (who cheated on her), and Enzo (who went after Caroline first). Elena and Caroline however, get to tear through as many guys as they want. Caroline literally got every guy on the show except Damon. What do all of Bonnie's love interests have in common: they aren't a threat to Caroline and Elena. Enzo and Jeremey weren't that relevant to the plot and Bonnie was their third choice. I heard somewhere that Bamon was the only ship not explored in the plot.
Bonnie is never the first choice. She's never at any of the balls. Why do you think that is?
Can we talk about Bonnie Bennett? I know the show has some racist past but why??? Bonnie literally saved all of their asses no joke. Especially for Elena , she lost and sacrificed so much and i just donβt get it. Sheβs one of the best characters on this show and got played so dirty and FOR WHAT. They paired her up with one of the biggest losers on the show.. aka Jeremy. She couldβve had so much better storylines. Sheβs an awesome friend that i would like to have Ngl! Wouldβve treated her better than any of the MFG! And anytime she did have a love interest they wouldnβt last. In the finale she didnβt even get a happy ending , What a disappointment..
Kat Graham is an amazing actress may i add.
Iβm I the only one that think bonnies power is over played in the fandom.people think she is some big powerful witch but she gets a nose bleed and passes out after a simple locator spell.personally she doesnβt Seem that powerful to me
Prue's Powers:
Telekinesis
Astral Projection
Bonnie's Powers:
Telekinesis
Pyrokinesis
THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS AND TRIGGER WARNING !!!!!
Am I the only one that felt like Bonnies feelings ALWAYS got swept under the rug. She was clearly suicidal, the multiple times she died, in season six she actually tried to kill herself, in season 8 she told Caroline she felt so alone that she wanted to die. BUT NO ONE BATS AN EYE ABOUT IT.
Any time she mentioned feeling a certain way someone would hug her and then that would be it. No elaboration to it. In season 1 when Grams died, BONNIE STAYED IN HER HOUSE AND DIDNT WANT TO TALK TO ANYONE. No one really tried either, and when she did tried to talk about it they would brush her off.
Then her dad died, and at this time she was dead so she didn't have anyone besides Jeremy to talk to but when she came back. SHE BARELY TALKED ABOUT IT. The sad thing is they used Bonnie as a "fail save" they let her risk her life countless times because she was the most powerful person and used her for it.
Those who have watched both - who do you think would win in a battle between them both? Bonnie is very powerful but seems to exhaust easily.
iβve been rewatching the show and am currently on the second season. bonnie and jeremy were always my favorite couple, but rewatching now i realize i think i wouldβve rather watched a show centered around bonnie and her life. i love so much of the show, and i would still want to know a lot about elena, stefan, damon, and all the other vampires. but i wish the concentration was on bonnie! does anyone else feel this way?
There's a lot of disinformation about Bonnie's powers, and I find it annoying, since that drives most of the people in disrespecting her. Bonnie Bennett is BOTH a psychic and a witch, who's been able to perform spirit magic, dark magic, expression but that is already unbelievably powerful using traditional magic. She, alone, managed to hold Hellfire, something that required a hundred of witches that died in the process, and she succeeded into channeling the power of her ancestors despite the fact that they where at peace, something that only she was able to do. In addition, she has created an entire dimension, receiving compliments from Cade himself, creator of Hell, so stop saying that Freya, who needed to channel her brothers for almost every spell, or Davina, who needed the power of the harvest or to be the regent of the covens to be considered really powerful. Bonnie is stronger than both of them, she has Bennett blood in her veins, and we all know that hers is the most powerful witches' bloodline. Qetsiyah created true immortality and the cure with her traditional magic, Ayana taught Esther the spell to torn her sons into vampires, and Bonnie descends from them. I'm not saying she's stronger than Hope Mikaelson (she's a tribrid and has already been declared the most powerful witch of all time), or the Hollow, but she's without any doubt stronger than Freya, Davina, Vincent and Esther. Not sure about Dahlia, she seems pretty powerful, but for most of the time she was linked to Freya and she had the magic collected during a hundred years' nap by her side.
Watching that scene again she said:
>My mother is Johanna, first cousin twice removed from Pauline, niece of Sheila AKA Grams.
Oookay. So if Pauline is Johanna's grandmother's cousin, and Pauline's mother is Grams sister, then Grams is four generations from Lucy, which makes Bonnie two generation older than Lucy.
So if instead Pauline is Johanna's cousin's Granddaughter, Pauline's mother is Grams' sister. Then Lucy and Grams are in the same generation and Bonnie is two generations younger than Lucy.
With these two scenarios, and lot's of cousins and such, it seems like the Bennet family is big, no? Okay so the question is..
HOW THE HELL IS BONNIE THE ONLY ONE LEFT!
I mean someone should look into that. Is there a revenge seeking vampire sho's systematically wiping generation after generation, leaving only one alive to carry on the line?
I need answers
Is it ever explained why Bonnie took her moms maiden last name? Her dad is Rudy Hopkins and her mom is Abby Bennett Wilson.
Bonnie's father's last name is Hopkins. Abby Bennett, her mother, is the daughter of Sheila Bennett (grams). Also, Bonnie's mothers full name is Bonnie Bennett Wilson? Where is the Wilson from?
Bonnie and Abby and Grams are descendants of Emily Bennett, who had a brother, so I'm assuming the last name Bennett passed down through the brother and his children. But if Grams is a descendant of the Bennett's, and has their last name, does that mean she never took her husbands last name (assuming she had a husband).
Can someone explain their family tree. Is the Bennett name perhaps carried on with all the women in the family or is this a continuity error?
Just a random little shower thought I had a few days ago .... who would win in a magical fight?
Badass Bonnie or badass Hermione?
