A list of puns related to "Bond Movie"
Because he has NO TIME TO DYE.
If we assume the movie takes place in the year it was released (1964), James Bond says the amount of time the gold in Fort Knox would be irradiated if the nuclear dirty bomb went off would be 57 years. Goldfinger corrects him and says 58. Whatβs 58 years after 1964? Thatβs right: 2022.
Happy New Year everyone!
Iβm thinking the first 2/3βs of Spectre.
Edit: thanks for all the suggestions. Itβs nice to see such a vast difference of opinions.
For me Die Another Day and You Only Live Twice would be immensely fun video games. Any others?
I was born in october 1998, so the world is not enough (1999)
Jaws
I go with License To Kill in 1989 with Timothy Dalton the second and his last his Bond film. The story was personally to Bond character. I love the revenge story between Bond and the Mexican cartel. Most of action scenes are so brutal.

I just wanted to know your opinion about it.
Am I the only one who thinks NTTD is NOT a good bond movie?
I mean I really enjoyed the fist half of the movie
At the beginning (Events in Italy) I was like "Wow, This is going to be awesome".
The mission in Cuba with Paloma was also enjoyable.
But the second half of the film was not satisfying for me and it was more of a random action movie played by Daniel Craig, nothing more than that.
- Safin's goal doesn't make any sense. His actions are even more pointless than his goal. For instance, he ran away with Mathilde but then released her when she bit his finger. WTF?
- Blowing up that plant wasn't part of the plan ordered by M. But Bond turns into a superhero to save the world? (this doesn't make any sense at all considering Bond's character)
The worst thing about this movie was Bond's death. As a Bond fan, it was one of the saddest moments for me to see "James Bond" dies. I understand the fact that Craig was not going to play another bond movie, but they shouldn't have killed Bond. Some might say killing Bond was the only way to end this, but considering "James Bond will return" which is written at the end of the casts, we know that the main character of the next movie isn't any other 007 but James Bond.
So wasn't it better and easier for them to keep him alive and just change the actor?
Thank you all!
And by not watching, I donβt mean if youβre anti-gay.
I have never seen a James Bond movie, and I honestly never planned to. However, Iβve been branching out my movie watching lately in an attempt to familiarize myself with pretty much any movie that βeverybodyβs seen.β So Iβm wondering: if Iβm only going to watch one James Bond movie, ever, and my goal is to become familiar with the franchise generally, which one should it be?
Edit: Thank you guys so much for all the feedback! I never expected to get this many responses!
They used to be a thing and played around the clock for days, you could put on the TV and classic James Bond movies would be on. I canβt seem to find one on my TV guide.
Usually thereβs at least a few here and there the past few years but now itβs like theyβre completely gone.
Me: No Time to Die?
Friend: Thatβs ok. How about tomorrow?
How do you think thibk, which song might be best?
I watched this again tonight. I'm aware that this won't be a popular post, but here is my thinking...
Lazenby might not be the best 'actor' but he carries off the action scenes very well. He's physical enough to convince you that he can fight. He's intelligent, funny, determined and sensitive.
This movies has the best Bond girl - she's strong minded, sexy, and has the deepest connection to Bond - he certainly thinks so as he marries her and the final scene is genuinely emotional and a scene Lazenby handles well.
It's a proper 'spy' story line - he's under cover for most of the movie, but once he's outed as Bond he's strong and compelling.
It has all the classic Bond tropes - the snow scenes, the final assault on Blofelt's lair, the car chases, the henchmen in matching uniforms.
It has comedy, the breaking of the 4th wall - 'this didn't happen to the other fellow' - the one liners.
It doesn't rely on too much gadgetry - but all of the nods to the other bond movies in the resignation scene just work.
The soundtrack is arguably the best and the most classic of the Bond movies - NTTD references this most recently.
If Lazenby had gone on to star in Diamonds are Forever I think we'd have seen an even more rich evolution of Bond, rather than Connery's rather tired and lazy performance.
Anyway - just my thinking - others may not agree but it will stay as my No.1 Bond movie.
He had no time to dye.
