A list of puns related to "Bobby Campo"
With the Charlotte expansion draft tomorrow (at least as I type this), I decided it'd be fun to take a look back at every MLS expansion draft, from the beginning to today, and seeing what kind of players ended up taken!
There's a lot of names in the early versions, please bear with me, I will probably generalize most of those.
##1998: Miami Fusion & Chicago Fire
MIA PICKS: GKs Jeff Cassar and Scott Budnick, DFs Joey Martinez, Cle Kooiman, Matt Kmasko, Wade Webber, and Ramiro Corrales, DF/MFs David Vaudreuil and Kris Kelderman, MFs John Maessner and Nelson Vargas, FW Bryan Taylor
The bulk of Miami's wouldn't stay around beyond 1999. Corrales is arguably the most known of the group they selected, and he played a grand total of 3 games before being shipped to the MetroStars. Only Cassar and Vargas actually made it to the new millenium, and Vargas suffered a career ending injury that season while Cassar lost the starting gig to some kid named Rimando. Wonder whatever happened to him.
CHI PICKS: GKs Kevin Hartman and Zach Thornton, DFs Danny Pena, Francis Okaroh, Andrew Lewis, and Brian Bates, MFs Manny Lagos, Jason Farrell, Jorge Salcedo, and Diego GutiΓ©rrez, FWs AJ Wood and Steve Patterson
Chicago, on the other hand, hit a home run. Hartman and Pena were immediately returned to the Galaxy for Chris Armas, who would make Best XI five times as a member of the Fire. They also got big name Jorge Campos in that deal, but Thornton beat the Mexican star for the #1 gig - and won Goalkeeper of the Year. The 35 year old Okaroh would prove to be a key stalwart of the league's second best defense as well, and GutiΓ©rrez would join him in the defense (anchored by Defender of the Year LuboΕ‘ KubΓk) as Chicago won the double right away.
Most of the rest were pretty whatever. But getting, essentially, 4 pieces of a double-winning XI via the expansion draft (once you factor in the Pena/Hartman for Armas deal) is a win.
##2005: Real Salt Lake & Chivas USA
RSL PICKS: GK DJ Countess, DFs Rusty Pierce, Nelson Akwari, and Matt Behncke, MFs Brian Kamler, Pablo Brenes, Andy Williams, Chris Brown, and Kevin Ara, FW Erick Scott
Only Brown and Williams managed to make it beyond 2005 for RSL. Brown would leave after the 06 season with not much to show, but Williams would become a stalwart who would spend six seasons in Utah as a player, winning MLS Cup in 2009. Even in retirement, Williams stayed with RSL in other capacities un

Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

It recently occurred to me just how many notable football coaches are of Italian descent. Pretty neat to see all this success in the game.
Vince Lombardi is probably the most famous name in NFL coaching history, and is the namesake of the Super Bowl trophy.
John Gagliardi and Joe Paterno are the two most winning coaches in NCAA history. Frank Girardi, Al Bagnoli, Rick Giancola, Fred Martinello, and Peter Mazzaferro are all in the Top 75 in wins as well.
Other college greats include Carmen Cozza (10 Ivy League Championships with Yale), Buff Donelli (lead Columbia to its only Ivy championship), and the recently retired Mark Dantonio.
Some guys currently in the college ranks include the likes of Jim Harbaugh and Doug Marrone (both of whom were also NFL HC's). Along with Marrone (OL), Sal Sunseri is also on Nick Saban's staff as a OLB coach. Pat Narduzzi's Pitt team is 17th in the nation. Bo Pelini, Bobby Petrino, and Greg Schiano are all really good coaches that would probably be leading major programs if they could avoid controversy.
Before our current coach, the last two coaches of the team I pull for (BC) were Frank Spaziani and Steve Addazio. Spaz is currently a DC for New Mexico and Daz is HC of Colorado State.
There is a handful of guys with prominent positions in the NFL
There's also a number of Italian American owners (Biscotti owns the Ravens, DeBartolo family owns the 49ers) as well as a number of front office types and players.
My Patriots also have Matt Patricia on the staff for his second tint with the team after being fired as the Lions HC, Carmen Bricillo who replaced the legendary OL coach Dante Scarnecchia (also Italian), and Vinnie Sunseri is being groomed to replace the great Ivan Fears at RB coach when he retires. Another disciple of Scar's is Dave DeGuglielmo who has been a longtime OL coach around the league, winning Super Bowls with the Pats and Giants, he's currently in the college ranks. The Patriots Bill Belichick himself coached under Italian American Bill Parcells.
Other current and former NFL coaches that have been HCs or Coordinators include: Dave Campo, Eric Mangin

This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.

Me: "Awe man... This is a damn bird box!" Her: "What the hell does that mean?!" Me: (Pulls both cans out & shows them to her) "It's only got Toucans."
I'm not ashamed to admit the look on her face was glorious.
I was just sitting there doing nothing.
