As they flew away I said 'These things really take my breath away'

I got back to back groans

"Well, of course I did."

My dad told this joke to me for the first time when I was like 10.

My 3 month old son is blowing bubbles, and my wife says, "I hope we get giggles out of you soon!"

I said, "He's pretty close, maybe next year!"

Wife to son: "That's the oldest dad joke in the book, buddy!"

Me: "It gets older every year!"

Whenever my dad got his beverage, he would put the straw in and blow bubbles followed by

"Put the damn thing in upside down..."

Then he flipped it over and proceeded to drink normally. I've adopted this one, but wouldn't recommend it on a first date. Maybe second...

Dad: "Do you remember blowing Bubbles as a kid?" Me: "Yes. Why?" Dad: "He said it has been a long time and he misses you"

Me: "Yeah, why?"
