A list of puns related to "Bloor Street"
Me and my boyfriend fight about this all the time. Is it Bloor (as in floor) or Bloor (Bluer)?

Has anyone else noticed the large number of bicyclists riding on the sidewalk along Bloor Street West of Christie where there are bike lanes going in both directions? I don't understand it. Is there a problem with the bike lanes that were created for bikes?
*If it rains we will move the show inside*

Hey wondering if anyone knows if the red light camera at the intersection of Bloor Street West and Dundas street gives out tickets to people in the left turn lane, waiting for the dedicated left turn signal to turn green? (Main intersection lights were green)The problem is that I ride a fairly light 250cc motorbike and the turn lane signal is triggered by weight and my bike just wouldnβt set it off. So I waited and waited and it just never changed. Eventually I just went when it was safe (and main intersection lights were green) but the intersection has a red light camera, so now Iβm worried.
Edit to add: the police have been contacted and they took it very seriously. They issued him a caution, and theyβre onto him. I hope that this helps, and he stops being a huge creep. Heβs on their radar now.
I already posted this on a Toronto Facebook group, but I wanted to post here as well to make sure I'm doing all I can to keep my neighbours safe.
Last night (Monday) around Bloor and Huron Streets at 9:30pm a man approached me, began trying to hold my hand, wrap his arms around me, and seemed to try and kiss me. He tried to convince me to let him come up to my apartment with me, and kept telling me I was "safe" with him. I told him I'm married and showed him my ring, but he said "girls wear rings to try and pretend they're married, but I know you're not." (I am married, not that that matters). He walked with me to my apartment while I tried to keep him talking. When it was silent I felt even more afraid, as he had this very nervous energy and kept rummaging around his hoodie pocket like he was reaching for something. When we got to my building I just said "bye" and ran inside, locking it behind me.
He was probably in his late 20s or early 30s, lighter olive complexion, dark hair, and had an accent (I'm terrible at identifying accents, so I'm not sure how helpful this part is). He said his name was Kazeem or Kadeem or something like that (I should have paid more attention to his name, but again, I was very scared). He was very normal looking and seemed sober and aware, but had a very strange energy and seemed very unpredictable.
I would have gone up to someone and pretended to be friends with them until he left, but the streets were deserted due to the rain. Keep your eyes open in that area, and stay safe everyone.
Edit to add: I agree that I should have turned around and gone to the convenience store or something, and never led him to my building! I was so afraid and not thinking clearly, all I wanted to do was get home and feel safe again. But this post is about safety, and I appreciate people giving advice on how to stay as safe as possible.
Hi all. I'm looking at living in a unit on Wallace - is it a safe street or does it have a history of crime? There was a shooting there last night (see below for the article). Thanks!

A man is in serious condition in hospital after he was shot outside a home in west Toronto on Monday night, paramedics say.
Toronto police say they were called to 30 Wallace Avenue, west of Dufferin and Bloor streets, after 11:30 p.m. for a report of gunshots fired.
They arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics said he was taken to a hospital trauma centre in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
Wallace Avenue was closed between Dufferin Street and Pauline Avenue for a time to allow for an investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 11 Division.
The longboard dude with gondolier staff and furious voice. What is his story? Where did he come from?
I once saw him using his voice power to end a picnic.
