Pens/Nib
[B+] Visconti Opera Roadster medium. Sporty metal pen with the signature Visconti hook safe cap. Very unique Chromium nib that is adequately springy but still has a pleasant mild feedback. Nib was tuned and smoothed by Visconti in Italy. Writing sample provided in photos. Comes with original box. $208 SOLD
[B+] Sailor King of Pen broad. This pen was my grail pen for the longest time. I love it and the nib is so smooth and springy. Was smoothed and tuned by Kirk Speer. I just donβt use it enough and donβt want to keep it just for the sake of saying that I have one. Writing sample as well as size comparison to Sailor 1911L in photos. Comes with original box. $415 SOLD
[B+] Pelikan M205 blue marble with silver trim M405 extra fine nib. The nib on the M205 is replaced by a 14k gold M405 extra fine nib. The M200 and M400 series are the same size so this is essentially an M400 now. The bright blue is beautiful and the extra fine nib, despite its width, has the classic Pelikan smoothness. Comes with original box. $160 SOLD
[B] Italix Parsonβs Essential broad left oblique nibbed fountain pen. The yellow pen is poppy and vibrant and one of the smoothest steel nibs I have used. The only reason why Iβm selling this is because I bought a gold nibbed oblique pen and donβt need two. $27 SOLD
[B+] Birmingham Pen Company 6th Avenue Ariel with extra fine Nemosine nib - Big pen with long section. I love the aesthetics of the pen. Just too big of a section for my hamster hands. My verification photos were not doing the pen justice so included a stock photo in the album. $73 SOLD
[A2] Pelikan M200 gold broad nib unit- dip tested to ensure there were no issues with the nib. $22 SOLD
[A2] Pelikan M205 silver fine nib unit- dip tested to ensure there were no issues with the nib. $22

... keep reading on reddit β‘I am starting to see more mentions of Birmingham Pen Company Inks so I visited this site which is quite snazzy!
I like wet flowing inks so I looked at their βswiftβ line and their colors look pretty vibrant and unique.
Your experience with their inks generally or βswiftβ specifically?
Your favorite colors?
How are their pens?
Could Bumi defeat the FoC like Yun did?
Location is the Tree of Time
Wong, Kirima, Rangi, and Kyoshi (fire, air, and earth only) will be fighting, Jinpa wont
Include a ratio if you can
Has anyone found a retailer that sells Birmingham Pen Company inks in the EU, or at least ships them here? Birmingham themselves seems to have stopped shipping here thanks to the new EU regulations (or so I'm guessing, these new regulations have certainly ruined enough other things...).
Hello there, Iβm a tenor (m30) and Iβm soon to be starting an opera company in a mid-sized city in Canada. Thinking of holding auditions at my alma mater to build two small (about 10 players each) cost-effective orchestras (one classical and one jazz) of the best students we can find to mount concert productions of opera, big band jazz, and combining the two to eventually put on concert versions of musicals (think Sweeney Todd).
Iβll be building this company out of my own pocket by working my day job (and maybe even buskingβ¦) so I need to know what a low but fair rate would be to pay per performance and per rehearsal. Iβm thinking for big shows itβll be 3 4-hour rehearsals and 2 performances, for concerts itβll be 1 and 1.
I have an idea in my head but Iβd like your opinions first.
Thanks for your time!
Could be a date or could be platonic, just moved to the area and want to go to the cinema for the first time in a while (And I love the Dune books)
As for details of myself I'm an Aussie that moved to the UK a several years ago, I enjoy travelling obviously and of course love my sci fi in all forms. Essentially since Im new to the Birmingham area would be nice to meet someone!
If you are looking to date I would like to find someone that is comfortable travelling alo and seeing the world with but is also independent as when I am working I tend to be intensely focused on it. If you are someone that is happy to have a debate or a good argument for hours on end rather than boring small talk definitely hit me up
