Good Saturday evening Swappers! It's been a minute since I've offered up some sweet blades on here.I've got a few customs and a semi-custom up for grabs tonight, so I'll get right to it! Not really looking for trades at the moment, but as always, I'll consider them.
Like new Robert Oldaker Blades (R.O.B) spearpoint flipper [B+]. Up for grabs is this beautiful R.O.B spearpoint flipper with Dragonskin pivot collars, orange peel pivots, gold fleck CF backspacer, and Zirc contoured clip. Tumbled titanium gold bronze anodized scales. Solid lockup and no play-perfect function. Comes with zippered case, no COA. Blade 3.5" and overall it's 8.25". Check out the crazy grinds on this beauty. Only reason for the B+ is, I'm not the original owner, but I can't find anthing wrong with it. Never cut or carried by me, and original owner advised the same. SV $800 SOLD!!!
Like new Billy Cho Mugen custom frame lock [A]. Linerless CF, blue ano'd titanium lockside, and orange peel pivot. Polished Zirc clip and floating backspacer with hand rubbed AEB-L blade. One of the best looking pocket clips I've personally seen on a knife. After owning a Sharknivco Ryu, this is about as close I've seen someone get, but not quite as pricey! Despite not being the original owner, I gave it an A, because it's as perfect an example as you will find. Comes with COA and taco case. SV $1100 SOLD!

Like new Jared Oeser Proto Dari Flipjoint [A]. Beautiful Ivory Westy over blue and brown. Floating backspacer, and M390 blade. Had to get my hands on an Oeser, so I purchased within a couple of weeks of winning, from the original lotto winner. Love the way this thing feels, but would like to move it to get my hands on a Oeser with a locking mechanism. This beauty screams build quality in every way possible. Comes with box, hank, leather slip and COA like it would direct. Looking to get back what I paid. SV $2000 TRADED!!!

THE CONTEST
Monday April 22nd 1901, Inspector Alfred Boxall is notified about a contest scheduled to take place at the National Sporting Club (NSC), a private gentlemenβs club in Covent Garden, London. At 8:45pm the Inspector visits the establishment and confirms itβs been prepared for such a contest:
βThere was an arrangement called the ring, consisting of a platform raised 2ft. or 3ft. above the floor. Round it were arranged a number of seats. On the platform were posts with ropes hanging between them. The posts were padded. The floor was also padded and covered with stretched canvasβ.
Before the contest commences a routine caution is issued by Inspector Boxall to the principals (Jack Roberts and Billy Smith), as well as to the management of the NSC, that they will be held responsible if the contest results in serious injury. Three days later the Inspector issues multiple arrest warrants.
"Yankee boxer dying from English champion's blows" The evening world (New York, N.Y.), April 23, 1901, (Night Edition)
In the 7th round of the 15 round contest Smith, ahead on points, fell and apparently struck his head against a portion of the ring during the fall. He got up before the count of 10, time was called on the round, he made his way to the corner and emerged for the start of the 8th round. Shortly afterwards, possibly as the result of a blow, he fell down and lost consciousness. He was attended to by his seconds and eventually taken to Charing Cross Hospital, where he died two days later.
10 people in total were charged with the manslaughter of Billy Smith, real name Murray Livingstone; Roberts, the referee, the timekeeper, the manager of the NSC, Robertsβs seconds and Smithβs own seconds. A trial took place the following month but the jury, unable to agree, were discharged and the trial was postponed until the next session.
THE STATE OF BOXING
In mid-late 18th century England, organised bare-knuckle fights were illegal and held surreptitiously in venues such as pub gardens and secluded countryside fields. Fights were not limited by a specific number of rounds (rounds ended when someone was knocked down) and fights continued as long as both men could meet in the centre of the ring at the start of the next round. The amount of time in between rounds wasnβt li

Robert is great (Penguin was definitely one of the best parts of Gotham, before it got ridiculous) but I found his voice too whiny, for lack of a better word. I preferred the more shallow affect his voice had in dishonored 1.
Both are great though, I love the outsider a lot.
Also, does anyone have any info on why they switched actors?
