I was just the lead in a very well budgeted feature with name cast members that came out a few months ago and I can’t get any agents attention. I’ve sent a submission to every single SAG franchised agency in my area over a month ago and haven’t heard back from a single one.

They were good emails too that were witty and personable while still being terse. It had everything they could every want down to self tape examples, trailers for the movies I’ve been in, and even a document quoting all my mentions in reviews.

I’m having absolutely no luck and I don’t know how to get their attention. Should I be sending physical dvd copies? Should I be dropping in or calling? Do I have to do the infamous gift basket thing?

Something to ponder while watching the Hall of Fame ballots come in.

So today was our court date. We didn’t get to go because yesterday HCBM told her attorney that her and SD have covid. She text DH saying that they were in quarantine because SD’s classmate has tested positive. SD told DH that she’d taken a test and was negative. Our attorney asked for proof of positive tests and all HCBM sent was random paperwork from urgent care saying that they’d tested after calling her attorney. There were no results. I wouldn’t call this a win because they canceled court, and we didn’t get to present our case. Our attorney is furious. Guess who is in contempt?

Only talking hypothetically, but in the off chance they do low numbers could this mean the end of the DCEU? I mean Wonder Woman was known as a smash until the second shattered any well being the franchise had, now nobody is asking for a third movie.

Considering how weak their 2023 lineup is with Shazam 2 and Blue Beetle, I think Warner Bros could be in big trouble. Hell, apart from Fantastic Beasts, Elvis, and Salem's Lot, nearly their entire theatrical slate is DC.
