The look is very well crafted. Halfway into the room, Envy takes the mask off and dust puffs out, revealing an old, ragged face.)

"Aries is a DEAD BITCH!" Screams Envy.

Suddenly, Envy pulls apart her outfit and skin, revealing hyper-realistic blood, guts, and grizzle, as if all of her skin was ripped off.

"But I...am THAT BITCH!" Envy spins, and doing so, the blood effect splatters everywhere, revealing a red and pink catsuit with crystals depicting various organs. Her hair is in a long ponytail that touches the floor. Bloods and guts splatter all across the four fake brick walls.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Chuma Okeke has put together two solid games in a row, and he may be denting Franz Wagner's minutes a bit. One more good game and he becomes a 12 team guy to at least look at. Additionally, Terrence Ross is starting to heat up as well, and I'd probably add him as one of my last guys.

Justin Holiday started the last game for the Pacers, and while he's not a 12 team add yet, it means Chris Duarte is a very safe 12 team drop, as he's no longer fantasy relevant.

The Alperen Sengun/Daniel Theis debate rages on. As long as each is healthy, their fantasy potential remains somewhat limited. I don't see Theis not playing 20+ minutes a night where he starts or not.

Alec Burks has been hot recently, and that's capped Quickley, Rose, and even Kemba Walker a bit. Burks has to be considered a 12 team add with how good he's been.

Khem Birch and Chris Boucher are both 12 team players as long as OG Anunoby is out, which, turns out, may not be for long. I happen to own both, so I get 40 center minutes from them combined.

Patrick Beverly should no longer be on 12 team waiver wires, as he provides very solid value across the board without hurting you anywhere. I do think Malik Beasley deserves a 12 team add, however, if you're looking for triples and points, the latter which isn't always easy to find on the waiver.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope isn't really in a positional battle and is boring, but I believe he has to be added in 12 teamers. Solid source of triples and steals.

Danilo Gallinari is starting to play better. Huerter may continue to start with Hunter out, but Gallo may be a better contributor even with less minutes.

Introduction

The early 70s were a tense time for the good ol’ U. S. of A. America was stuck in a war that a lot of people no longer want to be a part of, sending young men to risk their lives in South East Asia despite promise from several administrations that involvement in the war was decreasing; racial inequality is still a huge problem for black Americans who are still not afforded the same opportunities as white people; anti-war protests expose the realities of police brutality; and the Watergate Scandal was happening.

There was also a golden age of excellent socially conscious music that came out as a response to these issues. This was especially true in soul music, where many artists of that time were evolving soul into a more album-orientated genre, incorporating gospel, jazz, R&B, pop, psychedelia and progressive elements. This period of music has become influential on future genres such as hip-hop, contemporary R&B and neo-soul and has received much critical acclaim. The four albums featured in this rate led the charge in this evolution of soul and shocked critics who had underestimated their talents. Each album has stood the test of time in terms of critical acclaim, and were all commercially successful in giving the world a decent amount of hit singles, and strong album sales. These albums paved the way for other black artists to be more politically explicit in their music.

Soldiers do many things to make themselves feel not so far away when on a long deployment. Some decorate their living spaces with pinup girls and hometown sports memorabilia. Some bring special blankets and sheets that remind them of their beds back home. Most people I know didn’t openly display pictures of loved ones. I never did, I always viewed it as a distraction, and something too intimate to be shared, even among men I shared everything else with.

Our tent in Afghanistan was universally agreed to be best furnished, most comfortable and most un-military by far on Combat Outpost Terra Nova. This was due to equal parts luck and the personalities involved. My five-person team wasn’t organically part of the combat unit we were assigned to, and we gladly slide into the cracks of this grey area of command responsibility. And since we had a major as our team leader, it kept a lot of the petty micromanagement out of our living quarters. The cavalry and headquarters troops had to abide by strict unit regulations in the organization of their tents’ interiors, right down to chickenshit details such as having their boots, sneakers and shower sandals lined up in a particular order underneath their cots. Our tent had one rule and one rule only; “The Army stops at the door”. In addition to our civil affairs team; several US citizen interpreters and intel folks lived in our cozy little bungalow. At our own expense we managed to furnish it with Persian rugs, comfortable chairs, a refrigerator, shelves for snacks, and an oversized flat-screen television. Early in our tour, when 101st rotated out and was replaced by 10th Mountain, the 10th Mountain HHC First Sergeant barged into our tent and demanded we remove everything comfortable because it was a “Fire Hazard”. Our major politely directed him to leave and never enter our living quarters without his expressed permission. So, while we were able to keep our stuff, the HHC 1SG treated us with disdain for a few weeks. That lasted until all the laundry facilities on base broke down, and our team managed to “acquire” replacement washing machines and dryers at no cost to the US taxpayer in less than one week. Our tent wasn’t the only location on the COP that we put our handyman and interior decoration skills to use. The base also hosted the Afghan district government building, that my team and our State Department and USAID colleagues (one of each) worked out of. Note that I didn’t mention any Afghan government officials
