MTUs inability to do the right thing in terms of Covid vaccinations is astounding. Vaccine mandates for employees removed. Testing site only open 3 days a week for limited hours. “Not allowed” to ask students vaccine status. It’s all BS!!! Other universities in Michigan are starting to require BOOSTERS for everyone and we can’t even get it together to mandate masks inside.
Someone at the top must be a serious anti-vaxer or just plain stupid. Putting students and employees lives at risk. Putting the greater community at risk. I’m a graduate student and questioning my choice of moving my life and my family to a school that does not care about it’s students health. As a research based STEM school, there’s no excuses for what’s going on. Why wont Tech listen to the science? People are getting sick, people will die.
I wasn’t around when covid started at Tech, is there any insight to their seemingly insane decisions?
