This exact loop of music has been occurring in my head for days (acapella recreation)
I think this is a break or post-chorus in the song. The main melodic riff, I remember being orchestral, heavily involving strings. The vocals were male.
thanks in advance :)

I'm very tempted to say James fka Tyra Sanchez's Halo in season 2, but I'm gonna say Rose's verse on Lucky because I was suitably gagged and not surprised at all. Rose is very talented.
Honorable mentions go to Jan in the Madonna Rusical and Monique Heart in Everybody Say Love.
What's yours?
His vocals throughout the entire project are so sharp and clean. He has always had an angelic voice, but Dawn has really allowed it to shine more than ever before.
Stay Together For The Kids is my favorite.
Edit: I meant to ask for only Beatles songs.
Mine would be Don't Forget Me, that long "ooh" before the solo, gives me chills every time
Rules:
I think we can all agree that "Any Colour You Like" has Roger Water's best vocals
Whether that be whole songs, lines, live performancesβ¦ Iβm just curious about anything really
I need help finding a song. I donβt know much about it, but Iβve heard it a few times recently and donβt know what it is/who sings it. Link in comments to my vocals for reference!
Live, studio, unreleased, idgaf. Wanna hear everyoneβs opinion
I recently got into Bjork because of a Sugarcubes song called "Birthday" that popped in a Spotify playlist. I was mesmerized by the ethereal vocals and would like to know which songs exhibit Bjork flexing that kind of high notes. Thanks
I Am The Walrus - Glasgow Cathouse
Iβm talking about the standard album recordings, opinions on his live vocals can be given another time haha.
My favourite and in my opinion his best performance is on Symptom of the Universe. The shrill quality to his voice really, really hits here.
The new album has Michael's "best" (Ofc impo and debatable) vocal performance he's trying new vocal cadences and "styles" and his regular voice is in tip top shape
The bridge/outro to The Devil Rages On is a prime example of how strong his voice is

Not the hardest vocals to sing or anything like that, but the most beautiful vocals in a song. Doesn't have to be sung by Freddie either. Just what are your favourite vocals?
For me, it would have to be It's a Hard Life. His vocals give me chills, especially at around 1:58. The deep, rolling tone of it, it's just gorgeous. The entire song is a true masterpiece, but the vocals are probably the most incredible part. The mix of emotion, power, passion, timbre and deep notes makes me want to melt.
Another contender is You Take My Breath Away. That song has truly haunting vocals. The many layers and harmonies in the intro and throughout the song are lovely. The high, soft notes, the whispery feel to it, the drawling at the end of every line. I love being able to hear him breathe in as he's singing as well.
One more song is Too Much Love Will Kill You, sung by Brian. I love, love, love Freddie's version, but there's something about Brian's pure emotion in the song just gets to me. You can hear the desperation and melancholia and strain in his voice as he sings. There's such a unique power and sorrow to the song that Freddie's version doesn't seem to have. The climax of it is incredible. It makes me want to start crying along with Brian.
Give me your opinions!
I was curious about what y'all think was their best vocal performance, either studio or live. While still new, I can't help but find myself thinking of Troy's vocals on Eyes of Serpents right after the 5 minute mark. There's obviously many other impressive performances, like White Walker by Brann or Brent on the entirety of Cold Dark Place.
What song do you think each girl gives their best vocal performance in?
