Squad Foundations are fantastic.
EA doesn't get a lot right but these are fantastic. VERY useable players that are in unique leagues but easy to link with meta players or easily fit in a hybrid. Makes for unique teams and variation. Allows fans of other leagues to take pride in the squads. Not to mention how easily obtainable they are and the amount of time you have to complete the challenges. You don't need Fifa Points or even a lot of coins to get them. Just Fantastic.
I hope they do more promotions like this in the future.

EDIT 2: Forgot to mention how the Storyline players for the season are also incorporated into this. Clever. They make much more sense now.

India is hosting the 2022 Women's Asian Cup which starts from 20th Jan played across 3 venues in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune, only 2 days to go! 12 Teams from Asia will be competing for the cup. Unlike the men's tournament the Asian Cup doubles up as qualifiers for the FIFA Women's World Cup. The teams are divided in three groups of 4 teams each. The top 2 teams in each group qualify for the quarter finals. Also the two best 3rd placed teams will also play the quarter finals.
##Why is it India's best chance to qualify for FIFA World Cup on merit?
For a number of reasons,

Asia has 6 Direct slots and 2 Inter-continental playoff spots for 2023 FIFA World cup. So in a 12 Team tournament, 50% of the teams get a direct qualification to the World Cup.

Strong teams like North Korea, Uzbekistan and Jordan are not part of this tournament because they withdrew from qualifiers or didn't top their qualifier groups

India's Group - We are drawn with China, Taiwan and Iran in the group. Since up to 3 teams can get out of the group India has a good chance to make it to the quarterfinals. India can also draw inspiration from recent results vs Iran and Taiwan. India defeated Taiwan 1-0 a few months back in a friendly and also defeated Iran 1-0 in 2019 when Iran came to India to play in a friendly tournament. However both of these matches were very close and none of the teams can be considered favorites in these fixtures. As the coach himself has said, the target for the team is to get to the quarterfinals. China have been historically very strong in women's football. In recent times they have lost some of their domination but it would be a huge upset if India can get a result vs China.

If India win the quarter-final tie they directly qualify for the World Cup. Even if India lose, the quarterfinal losers will play each other and the two winner's of this tie will qualify for the world cup. So if India face an impossible hurdle in quarterfinals and are drawn against a team like South Korea they still have a chance to make it to the world cup. Since Australia are the 2023 World Cup hosts the above format of world cup qualification only takes place if Australia reach the semi-finals in the Asian Cup. My best player just came out, Diogo Jota (numbers up). I know its a bit early to say he is the best for me, but for that price he works like a charm.

I just wanted to tell anyone who might understand that I achieved a personal game achievement today on Stadia.
I've been playing FIFA on Stadia for the past two seasons, and have never been able to find an online match - so I've resigned myself to playing the AI and trading as best as I can to try to get a team I like. This is a long and laborious process, especially since I'm well in my 40's and don't have the time or dexterity to just be good at things.
My only dream in this game, as a Northern Irish Manchester United fan, has been to get the George Best Icon.
I struggled through many World Class Icon Swap requirements (I'm really bad at this game), so many traded badges and I'M BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS THAT I GOT IT! THAT'S IT! I OFFICIALLY WON FIFA!
I just got off the game after coming back from 4-0 down in champs to win 5-4 in ET and it got me thinking, are comebacks like this exceedingly rare? Anyone here ever come back from 5 down?
