Hi all, I need your help! I've scoured the /r/australianmakeup archived and looked through many reviews for a great hair straightener but I'm still struggling with making a choice.
I wanted to finally upgrade from my Models Prefer hair straightener and after a lot of research, I ended up buying a Cloud Nine straightener and whilst it does a great job with straightening, I really struggled to curl my hair with it due to the gummy texture on the outside of the straightener (it had a similar feel to Nars packaging).
Does anyone have any good recommendations for a hair straightener that's a high quality, will work well with moderately thick hair and can also curl well? Price isn't a huge concern for me but I'm not quite prepared to dive into Dyson pricing. Some online reviews recommend GHDs still but I was reluctant as I'd heard their quality had gone downhill in recent years.

Hello people of r/bootroom. I have had these questions for a while and decided to ask. I have $15 Umbro cleats that just suck so bad I mean it’s a rubber stub and it feels horrible and for kicking it also sucks so wondering how much of a difference it will make.
Also wanted to know which are better? Superfly 8 by Nike or the Predators 20.3 FG by Adidas?
Also best stretches for better endurance and better kicking either curling or a powerful kick?
And lastly like the last question best ways to practice curl shots or powerful ones?

So I’m on a pretty tight budget but I’m looking for a good curling iron for hair that just refuses to hold a curl. My hair is curl type 2b and fairly thick, but I desperately struggle to get it to hold any non-natural curls 😭 help???
