A list of puns related to "Best Banh Mi"
I've never really had one before, and I wanted to try one. Does anyone have a good recommendation? I am in the sunset/parkside area but anywhere in the sunset region is fine
I've been having a hankering for some Banh Mi. The best I've had (outside of SE Asia) was in MTL a few years ago in Chinatown.
I've been underwhelmed with the ones I've had in VT. Most have come on a gross commercial hoagie roll. The poor sammich deserves a freshly baked baguette. Anyone with recs within an hour of Burlington?
There are few around KangBook area but they all seem to be part of franchise. The sandwiches are dangerously low on fish sauce and missing liver pate.
Is there any place where Vietnamese go get their food around the greater Seoul area?
I have already tried Ng Cafe and Tam Deli Cafe, so I want some other recommendations to try.
I love leโs baguette, but I want to branch out
This question was asked once before but 5 yrs ago, so I figure things have changed since then. Been craving a good banh mi, and was wondering what the best spot was to get one?
Update: 999 Pho and Tea Leaf were suggested the most and so I tried both. Tea Leaf was better; more meat, better flavour and softer rolls. Thank you to everyone who commented
Since Nam Nom in the Farmersโ Market closed, Iโve had a Banh Mi-shaped hole in my heart. Does anyone know any great places for Banh Mi in Hamilton?
Tried Obanhmi and Dharma Garden's.... any other reccomendations?
Looking for the best bahn mi in NE or SE, preferably. Have had Best Baguette which I liked. Tried TM Banh Mi today and it was pretty terrible.
Kind of tired of cooking so trying to find cheap take out and bahn mis in general are great.
The banh mi is the epitome of the perfect sandwich... but not all are created equal. Iโve tried it at K Sandwiches, Goi Cuon, Banh Mi Babe, and various Vietnamese restaurants. Where in San Diego do you think has the best? I would love some recommendations!
Thank you so much
I've already had one from TNT in Ottawa... didn't quite like it. So far the best banh mi sandwiches I've ever had so far are two places in Mississauga, ON. Thank you!
Just had Son of Egg for the first time and it was delicious but now I want banh mi or some nice steamed buns with pork/duck/etc.
My go to spot is Ba Le in Dorchester, but wondering if I should branch out and try other places too.
I am looking for some authentic suggestions.
Thank you.
Update: I am going to try Ba Le for lunch. Thanks for all the suggestions.
I am open to different areas and willing to drive for the best.
Edit: Thanks everyone. I like driving so areas around LA are game. I am definitely going to hit up some in SGV.
Hey everyone, as some of you may know Au Petit Cafe is now permanently closed due to the current pandemic. This was my go to spot for Banh Mi's! Any recommendations for something similar? I've tried places such as Banh Mi Saigon/Ba Le/DD Mau and unfortunately it has not compared to Au Petit for me!
My usual banh mi fix at Darra train station is shut...
So where is the next best place?
I found this post from a couple years ago, but I was wondering if anyone had fresh recommendations for banh mi and other Vietnamese food in Jax.

Any pointers for good Banh-Mi sandwiches in Westchester?
Having spent some time in Melbourne, Australia last year (before the dark ages), I quickly became a huge fan of Banh Mi. I see there are a few places in Hamilton. Anyone have some recommendations?
looking for a really good banh mi. Had one from mendocino farms that was ok, not a fan of the banh mi from brothers and รด banh mi was pretty good. send me your recs!! thanks!
I read Banh Mi So is closed and/or for sale. Any word on whether new owners will offer the same menu?
This was my favorite restaurant. Am heartbroken, but happy for Mr. and Ms. Truong. Much love and gratitude for the decades of perfection.
Recently had my first a couple weeks ago and I loved it. I had a Korean meatball, it was tender/no chewy meat, hopefully I can find some suggestions for something similar.
Thanks in advance!
I had half of two pretty delicious banh mi sandwiches for lunch at Nhu Lan Bakery today. We stopped at the Sheridan location because the one on Lawrence is closed on Tuesdays and split the Roasted Pork and the Lemongrass chicken sandwiches. Both had tons of flavor. The pork was crispy and the chicken was juicy. I'd give the slight edge to the chicken just because I'm not quite used to the texture of that crispy pork. I want to go back to try the "traditional" version sometime soon (tomorrow??).
It got me thinking: Where can I find the best banh mi in Chicago? Wold love to hear everyone's take on both "traditional" and variations like the ones we got today.
**I put traditional in quotes above because it seems like variations to the sandwich are essential to every banh mi shop I've ever been to.
Lets settle this once and for all.
