I wanted to compare what Subaru went through with other Isekai MCs... Including Rimuru, yes i like Slime a bit. I will be using some Novel info of re zero, so ill mark all this as spoiler, but i myself am an anime only, so correct me if anything.
First ill go from "the one that had the best" to Subaru.
Katarina - Pretty much straight if you watched the show. Died, reincarnated as the villain of her favorite otome. She tries making plans to avoid being killed in the end but her personality makes everything easier to the point she doesnt actually need a plan besides being herself (by herself, i mean the girl who reincarnated as Katarina).
Rimuru - Your average salaryman. Got stabbed, died and reincarnated as a Slime. Tried to make peace with everyone and every kingdom he could but despise his efforts, humans attacked his village and killed everyone. His saving grace was being told that a Demon Lord can revive the dead. I would rank Rimuru higher if there was no way to bring back his friends but lets be honest, having everyone you love being killed while you could do nothing is itself bad enough. I havent finished slime so i could be wrong in something but there isnt much struggle for Rimuru.
Ainz - Ok hear me out. I understand Ainz's situation: losing his friends and the game which he invisted all of life in it, now being brought to a new world similar to Yggridasil and having to pretend hes some kind of overlord when in reality hes just a guy whos passing through a rough time. Still with that, his position as Ainz Ooal Gown makes things easier, bit again having to pretend all the time someone you arent isnt the best too.
Kazuma - Unlike Ainz, Kazuma started with no wealth, no position and yara yara, he only started with a goddess that barely knows how. Was a neet in his previous life and had his family laughing at his death. His party is made by a bunch of crazies: a loli that nukes a bomb once a day and a masochist tank, so he needs to be the brain. Later on, he gets a mansion and some money by selling the inventions of his world. Bad start, good path for now at least.
Naofumi - Joined a party of heros to save the world he was called to. Gets accused of rape and his reputation goes to the darkest abyss there is in Lordran. Gets a slave but treats her well. Kater he grinds his way back and becomes respected again. Now ill be honest that i havent watched Shield hero, but the little i know from Naofumi see

how well would touma do in re zero verse (and touma would still have the dragons sealed inside him) and how well would he get along with re zero characters
you know miasma is just contaminated mana and if someone has an authority they emit miasma so authoritys contaminate mana and an authority was used to make mabeasts so IB could eliminate miasma and be an anti authority/witchfactor tool Authorities can be manifested within people after they take in Witch Factors. Witch Factors are the antithesis of Od Laguna (Od Laguna–often referred to as the "world" in layman terms–is a vast storage of mana located at the origin of the world itself, or in other words, at the world's core. It is where all mana comes from in the world, a eventually goes back to) and the Authorities granted by them can be considered the backward compatibility of Divine Protections, according to Beatrice. Echidna describes Authorities to be 'those which are the right to interfere with the world
so its possible IB is a hard counter to authorities and he ends up being able to negate them or is straight up immune to some

So a few people have been asking who Christopher Bouzy (aka Boozy) is. I thought I would do a quick write-up as a new player has entered the arena. Make of this guy what you all will. Apologies for any uncaught typos, im tired.
Who is Boozy?
Boozy is a guy from NJ, USA who has suddenly appeared on the scene and appears to have just ousted Scobie as the sugars new mouthpiece. He also appears to be waging war on anyone who commits what he believes is 'hate speech,' as tracked through his highly suspicious bot, called 'Bot Sentinel.'
Why is he involved? Where's he come from?
Boozy sees himself as a website/app developer,(along with many other things but Ill get to that shortly) - its all a bit vague what he actually does. One thing we know he has done is create a twitter related program called Bot Sentinel. The idea of this app/bot appears that if a user runs it, they have the ability to block what the account recognises as hate speech. The bot also allegedly tracks 'hate accounts' which allows Boozy to identify who the alleged trolls are.
Boozy had a decent twitter following - his main claim to fame being Chrissy Teigen of all people...which was based loosely around politics and promoting his app. A perusal of his tweets show someone who tweets a mixture of current affairs, his views on politics, but inbetween those, there are mildly disturbing signs as he often attacks other people for having a different view of him - but does it in a demeaning sarcastic way to avoid TOS.
Boozy became involved about 3 weeks ago, when he retweeted a picture of Katherine Middleton being called a 'hag' or similar in the headline, and was clearly baiting people to join in mocking her, by his tweet. He got attacked for it by William and Kates supporters, and instead of thinking he was wrong to retweet that (promotion of hate speech) he dug down even more and started to use bot sentinel to out people online who he perceived as abusive towards Meghan Markle.
Boozy then went on a twitter spree to whip up the twitter crowds for several days before producing a report that he had created from data from Bot Sentinel. Boozys report was 'picked up' by some media outlets and went eventually onto the desk of Jack Dorsey for further investigation. Boozy alleged that there was a sophisticated network/ring of people who were either paid or unpaid, but actively working in twitter hives across the world, to destabilise MM's standing. Lets start with Greed-baru.
We already saw Subarus greed authority in arc 6 manifest into Cor Lenois fist shift(he is able to see where his allys are at and can take there pain to him self makeing them feel like they lost pain even with wonds)but not take wonds them self from them(if he isnt able to take the pain,passes out or dies pain returns to conected person he took it from).He has second shift which makes him share his pain with others(makes them take his pain if he takes damage this time).Price for the authority is that people need to be his close friends/loved ones(for both shifts to work and conect with people)and for second shift people need to accapt his pain(so that second shift can conect with them).And range of conection is simular to 2 Pleadies Watch tower flors.
Now Greed-barus greed is arguably stronger then main Subarus greed to take pain and suffering from everyone he is close to.And Greed-barus greed alsoo is more how to say stronger in reach(to make everyone and anyone not suffer to even greater extend then main Subarus).And he disregards feelings of others just so he can save them.Wheres main Subarus greed isnt like that.
I think he whould develop stronger Cor Leonis but with few modifications:
Cor Leonis works on anyone even tho they dont veiw Subaru as friend/loved one(since Subaru even tho he hurts people mentally he still saves them even tho they show they are not happy about it).
Cor Leonis has far stronger range then just that of Pleaids Watch tower flors(since Subarus greed is far stronger to cheap everyone safe he whould want the range to be much stronger to see how everyone is doing and not let any pain slip on his watch).
Cor Leonis makes Subaru take full wonds of others on to him self and even tho he pasess out or is killed wonds still stay in place on him(its more like when he conects with someone all damage is transfered to him instead of one he conected to when in battle).This ability is instant in stronger way that people dont feel like they are attacked at all and wond is instantly transfered to Subaru.
Just anoder note is that I dont think this Greed-baru whould develop second shift of Cor Leonis which makes him(share his pain with others)since it whould got againts his view point that he must take all pain at all times.

The following is a somewhat metatextual character-focused analysis of how the persona of Natsumi Schwartz plays into the internal conflicts of Subaru’s heart and the development he and those around him experience.
This is not focused on an in-universe explanation for Subaru’s actions, even if—as is covered below—these internal conflicts do heavily influence why Subaru decides to maintain the guise of Natsumi beyond the siege of Gural. However, I will quickly cover said non-character analysis related in-universe explanations just to clear things up.
The simplest explanation for why Subaru decides to remain as Natsumi despite several opportunities to change back into men’s clothes is as follows:
First, Vincent is being hunted by assassins and, as shown at the very start of arc 7, merely being male with black hair is enough to get Subaru confused with him. Subaru needs a disguise if he wants to survive in Vollachia. Second, Natsuki Subaru is well known by those in political circles to be Emilia’s Knight—with Vincent even recognizing his name in an early arc 7 side story. Should word spread that Subaru is very publicly violating the closed border agreement between nations, it would greatly tarnish Emilia’s already abysmal image with the public and would certainly effectively disqualify her from becoming King. Subaru needs a disguise if he wants to traverse Vollachia without ruining things for his liege.
Subaru needs an elaborate disguise that altered his appearance to the point where he’d be completely unrecognizable. And Subaru has demonstrated skills in crossdressing since the Side Story My Fair Lady set just after arc 2. It is not only reasonable but actually incredibly sensible for Subaru to decide to crossdress as his disguise. It did not come out of nowhere, and it is not ridiculous. It’s an in-character decision, and the obvious one to make at that.
