First simulation & project in Blender! Remade the BBC 2 Paint Ident!
Here's my own version of the BBC 2 Ident, made in Blender using fluid simulations. It's my first project in Blender, and took from Friday evening until Tuesday night to render (got some help from a friend with a dedicated GPU, which is why the simulation suddenly changes - each frame took 5 to 15 mins on my own PC! (although I can imagine you've had to endure worse, but this is a relatively simple scene compared to what else is on this subreddit) I would have liked to of increased the iterations count but I didn't have the computer power or time for it.
The simulation speed is 0.015 and the simulation is made in the same way the original was made: the paint actually falls down under gravity and the camera is rotated to make it appear it is coming in from the side. Took many bakes to get speed and animation right, with each bake taking ~20 mins (undoubtedly you've all had to experience worse though).
