A list of puns related to "Barry Kripke"
Just completed the series for the first time. While reminiscing some of the side characters, I couldnt help but realise how good his character was. The accent, jokes, savagery, everything was very entertaining imo.
I read on a forum that Barry is smarter than Sheldon because he constantly bests him academically speaking, personally I think Sheldon has a higher iq and a wider knowledge of the general sciences. Whatβs your opinion?
So I started watching Big Bang theory 7-8 years ago and I am doing a rewatch in 2021, the thing is I donβt remember Barry Kripke having a weird accent. In the rewatch I was surprised to see that I missed it in my original watch. Could this be Mandela effect?
The Mandela effect is an unusual phenomenon where a large group of people remember something differently than how it occurred. Conspiracy theorists believe this is proof of an alternate universe, while many doctors use it as an illustration of how imperfect memory can be sometimes.
Is there anyone else who also doesnβt remember Barey Kripke having a weird accent?
Good grief, I thought I heard it all but that just took the cake and set bar at a whole new level πππ€£π€£
Sheldon and Amy are horrible together. Sheldon is downright abusive to her at times: he repeatedly puts down her intelligence, claims her entire field of study is beneath him, and finds her attraction toward him to be nothing more than Amy βsuccumbing to baser instinctsβ. Her physical needs mean absolutely nothing to him. Furthermore, the relationship agreement appears to ONLY favor Sheldonβs needs.
I know a major caveat of all this is that Amy agreed to be in a relationship with him. But thatβs the thing about abusive relationships: the person being abused may not realize theyβre being abused. In Amyβs case, Iβd say this is true. Amy had never been in an intimate relationship before Sheldon, plus her parents modeled a horrible relationship dynamic during her childhood. When you combine her inexperience with love and her archetypal view of relationships established by her parents, Amy wasnβt set up for dating success. She didnβt realize Sheldon wasnβt treating her right because nobody had ever paid her attention before. She felt so deprived of human contact that she was willing to take whatever she could get. In her mind, Sheldon and his friends were the only people willing to accept her own crippling awkwardness.
Thatβs where Barry Kripke comes in. In season 8, Amy went to Sheldon and asked him to collaborate on ideas she had about the applications of string theory within neural networks. He turned her down, but not because he was too busy. He didnβt think the work had any value, so he told her βthe only math biologists know is if you have three frogs and one hops away, that leaves two frogs.β Amy shrugged off this disdainful remark and asked Barry Krippe for help. Though these two have infrequent interactions, Barryβs respect for Amy shines. When they finished working together, he visits her lab to thank her personally with a bottle of wine. He spoke to her kindly and professionally. Usually heβs crass and gross, and really annoying, but with Amy he seemed more toned down and at ease. Amy also seems to react to him the same way. Undoubtedly, she had heard endless quips about Barry from Sheldon. She likely heard nothing but grievances from him about their rivalry, yet still felt comfortable talking to Barry despite Sheldonβs best efforts.
I really feel like this was the spot where Amy should have started showing doubts about Sheldon. She deserved better than him for a boyfriend, and Barry could have had a redemption story arc (almost like Howardβs) w

~He is absolutely hilarious. Of course, Kripke said my favourite line; 'Hey look, it's my favourite superhero. The Retractor!'
~He's just as smart as everyone else, possibly even smarter. It is never specified how many PHD's he has, but I'm sure he has multiple. He may not be Bruce Banner, but he sure is extremely intelligent.
~All of his lines are perfection. From 'That's not a very hot name... I'm going to call you Roxanne.' to ' 20,000 data files and no statistically significant results... Very impressive!'
There are multiple other points I could make, but I've just finished school and this is getting long, so if you want me to make an argument for Leslie Winkle being my second favourite and Sheldon being my third, please comment.
I will thank everyone who upvotes this. Also, if you too like Barry Kripke, please dm me on Instagram (@sadiesink_zoomer) or Snapchat (rhian_sapph85) and please specify that you saw this post.
Thank you for reading. Live long and prosper!
(No, this is not a Bazinga, Kripke really is my favourite character and I love him and the actor, John Ross Bowie)
So, did Barry Kripke sleep with Leonard's mom? He was hitting on her really hard at Sheldon's birthday party, and she looked kind of receptive. I mean, it could have happened, right?
Be weary weary cawefull!!!
in the episode where Sheldon had to lie that he had a coitus with Amy. How come Kripke managed to be better than Sheldon?
In season 3 episode 9 barry pranked sheldon with helium which should of killed sheldon but the way sheldon got revenge was worse he used elephant toothpaste which when its a small amount its just really warm but that amount would cause burns or death sheldon is a murderer

Hey, just a head's up, John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke) is one of the stars of the new series Speechless on ABC. No, he's not doing the speech impediment :(.
I think it's Barry Kripke
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!

Pilot on me!!
Hill I will die on: Amy Farrah Fowler should have ended up with Barry Kripke
