A list of puns related to "Bao Bun"
Hi all! I have been to Hong Kong Pearl several times for dim sum and I love their char siu bao. Unfortunately, it's a bit out of my way since I'm in Centreville. I know that I can pick some frozen ones up at Hmart or Lotte, but is there anywhere closer that makes them fresh?
TIA!!
Title. Live near SoBo.
Looking for light fluffy, and preferably handmade. I know of Bao sandwich bar already. Any others?
Hi! Looking for good bao, Chinese/dim sum. Aware of Loma house and padmanadis but anywhere else Iβm missing? Or any frozen veg dim sum options in the city for vegan/vegetarians?
ISO your recommendations for bao in the area. Thanks!

Looking for restaurants that serve bao buns in Windsor.
I was hanging out with a few Cantonese friends of mine, and to keep a long story short, one of them told me that what I have been seeking is called "gwei fei bao," basically the famous BBQ pork bun they have a Tim Ho Wan in Hong Kong. Unfortunately when I try to search for this term, I don't get many great results. In my city (Vancouver), only 2 restaurants seem to show up as having served them at one point.
Does anyone know anything about these things, if there's a good encyclopedia article on it, and if there are any places in the Vancouver area that serve it? Thanks.
EDIT: It also seems like no one has agreed on how it should be written in English phonetics. I'm seeing "Gui" and "guai" and all sorts of things. If anyone happens to know the way to write it in Chinese characters, that would be fantastic as well.
I can only find them in LA or SF and iβve been craving them so bad!! Iβm in La jolla/UTC area but am willing to travel lol.
Iβve been home for a week recovering from oral surgery and I made the mistake of watching some cooking shows. They made bao buns in one episode and they looked so good. When Iβm all healed up Iβd like to try some! Where can I get some in/ near Charlotte? I live in Rock Hill but can go into Charlotte!
Iβm sad there isnβt an hmart close by. Anyone know where I could find ready to steam gua bao buns? Or anywhere that sells them ready to eat?
Thanks!
I need help! I can't stop craving bao buns, and also can't seem to find any veggie versions in the cities.
Do they exist and if so, where can I find them?
Thanks in advance!
Hello fellow Torontonians, I was hoping to find plain bao buns in the City. Anyone know the best place to get them? Thanks for any input. Only answer if you know for sure.
One person suggested Mashion Bakery in Chinatown which I'll check, if there are any more suggestions, that would be great.
I want to make some different fillings and put them into the buns. (Sandwich style).
