A list of puns related to "Baltimore Gas And Electric"
Hey guys, not quite sure if this belongs here, but giving it a go anyway since our electric comes from BGE, and it'd be neat to get some kind of plausible answer, advice or just discussion due to both these companies being closed Sunday.
Just about an hour ago, I received an email from an Arcadia Power, stating our service was swapping from BGE to Arcadia. The email stated we were set up for autopay, and will receive our first bill on the 24th. I've contacted BGE and Arcadia via their support emails given it's bloody Sunday, but needless to say we're ticked off about this, due to there being... quite a few problems.
Has anyone had this happen before or have insight on how this happens with any company? I don't believe for a second its an actual 'clean energy' company given it's being defined as a middle man to you and BGE, and our bills are already as high as is without having to pay extra for that middle man.
Sorry if its just babble, I'm just confused since I've never heard of this happening in my life.
Hello, Baltimoreans!
This is going to seem very random, but I'm doing a marketing project related to Baltimore Gas & Electric and am trying to get a sense for how the brand is perceived by residents. If you have a few minutes, could you share your perceptions of BG&E? Do you like it? Dislike it? Do you not care one way or the other? What makes you feel this way? Let me know in the comments. Be as descriptive as you like, the more the better!
Also, do you often see BG&E around town? Would you say theyβre a part of Baltimoreβs fabric/culture?
Lastly, what you think a big company like BG&E needs to do to better power Baltimore?
ALSO - An additional thing I'm looking for - how/what does the BG&E brand make you feel? I know it's a strange question, but does BG&E generate any kind of emotional reaction?
Thanks so much for your help!
EDIT: Added an additional question
Ill jump right in. My mum seems to be paying a crazy amount for her gas and electric and im not so sure its just the prices. She told me she pays around Β£2.70 a DAY for electric and she is the only one who lives in the house. She works 5 days a week, meaning she is out the house from about 7.30 to 6.30 that night. Everything is switched off whilst out (excluding the fridge and freezer). I don't understand how it's so high. I'm in my own house using far more electric in my opinion and I only spent about 84p a day. Is there something more sinister going on?
She also says she spends around Β£20 a week on gas but it's almost never on seeing as she's out most of the day
Any help is much appreciated π
Edit: it is a pre-paid meter she uses, we are also based in Belfast.
Brandon will never acknowledge that his massive spending spree is inflationary.

PresidentΒ Joe BidenΒ admitted consumer prices were too high on Wednesday as he toured the Port of Baltimore and set out how his massive spending plans would help drive down inflation.
'Everything from a gallon of gas a loaf of bread costs more and it's worrisome even though wages are going up,' he said.
'We still face challenges, we have to tackle them.'
I'm in the last 12 hours of deciding on an offer for a home in Boulder (which will almost certainly be outbid by an investor living overseas...).
The selling realtor hasn't provided any information on historical utility bills. The property is larger than where I currently live so I expect energy demands from heating and cooling to be higher, but I am trying to estimate how much higher.
Can you look up this information from XCEL? How about for the water bill (I do not currently pay a water bill so I'm clueless here)?
Thank you!
I'm thinking of entering a (more expensive than current SVR) new fixed gas and electric tariff with British Gas which is fixed for 2 years. Is this a smart move? Over the short term, I'm paying a bit more than I was before. But over the long term (April and Oct 2022 price rises likely) would this save me money as compared to being on the SVR?
I (30F) work a solitary job that requires a lot of driving, lots of gas stations, sometimes after dark. Itβs common to get catcalled and stared at while refilling the tank.
I bought an EV recently, on cost basis alone, but realized Iβll never have to be in that vulnerable situation again. Waiting on the pump to finish filling up, wondering when I can get back in and away from Leery Driver at the next pump.
Iβve never had a good time at a gas station. At best, Iβm there alone when no other drivers are around. Now all I have to do is charge from home!
