New to reddit and trying to keep this brief.
I have been with my partner, Sarah for four and a while years - we have a 2 year old and a 6 month old baby.
My wife's father is from Romania whilst her mother is from Germany, she was raised in Germany and visited Romania for holidays, she moved over here with her parents and some other family when she was 12.
She has been mentioning for a while that she's homesick so the day of her birthday I woke up early and made a bunch of meals from Romania/Germany, I had planned this a month in advance so I invited her parents/siblings/nieces/nephews and a few other relatives - in total I was cooking for 17 not including our family unit on top of decorating and looking after two babies.
She showed up at 3am, considering dinner was at 530 it was a lot later so I had sent her family home with the left overs, she started crying that she was hungry and we could go out for dinner the next day for dinner to celebrate, I made her a bacon sarnie and told her it was her birthday meal.
She is now refusing to talk to me claiming I overreacted and that she was allowed to have fun without getting attitude, that we could celebrate the next day and she could have reheated the food I had originally cooked.
She said she had a right to let loose after having a baby 6 months ago and that it was her day to decide what to do with.
She did tell me she was going out...over text at 7pm when the meal started at 530
