A list of puns related to "Axel Alonso"
I've just caught up on all the SDCC panels, and something Axel Alonso said in the Death Of X panel bothered me. To quote the CBR article:
> A passionate X-Men fan then asked the panelists what they need fans to do to really support the book. "If you adapt the mentality that you're going to wait for trade, what you're doing is contributing to the cancellation of the series
Now, whilst this may be ostensibly true, it is incredibly closed minded, and frankly seems like an attack. A lot of people, myself included, simply cannot afford to pay Β£2.50 an issue, and instead wait until they are released altogether at an affordable price. Then there are those, also me included, that prefer the visual appeal of paperbacks on a shelf rather than a box with single issues in, so wait for trade. To attack such people here and blame them for series being cancelled is just irresponsible, especially for someone as senior as Alonso
I am aware about the tie-ins, but does Civil War II affect Marvel Comics' reputation?

>This week saw the first lettered preview of Ta-Nehisi Coates and Brian Stelfreeze's "Black Panther" #1, along with some new commentary from Coates on that issue. I'd like to get some more clarity on that status of that book -- you've stated here in the past that it's an ongoing, but there's been some confusion after Coates himself called it an "11-issue series" in The Atlantic. What's the latest word?
>Alonso: This is an ongoing series. Ta-Nehisi's first story arc is 11 issues, but he intends to continue writing this series after the arc is over. He is putting the finishing touches on issue #11 right now, so he is very ahead of schedule.
Holy crap, he's basically a year ahead. I'm getting the feeling we're in for something really really special.
