A list of puns related to "Avatar Wan"

This may have already been voiced as a theory here before, but I've had this thought for a while now and figured I should share it.
After Wan died, the world was still very much at war. Wan was the person doing the most to hold things together, but warring groups would likely only see his death as an opportunity to escalate things further now that the Avatar was gone. This is because they would have no way of knowing that he would reincarnate, as there was no precedent for it. I think it's possible that Wan's companions/students/friends founded the Order of the White Lotus to act as a sort of substitute for the Avatar. The Avatar is meant to be the bridge between all 4 nations, as well as the bridge between the human and spirit worlds. The White Lotus is characterized as having very spiritual/powerful members from all 4 nations. However once the second Avatar revealed themself, the WL likely became closer to the organization we see in ATLA.
There are a couple points that go against this however, but I think they're able to be discredited. The archived Lost Lore page for the White Lotus says that it was originally formed centuries ago as a Pai Sho club. While the 'centuries ago' part could just be retconned to make this theory work (as was Ursa being born into Fire Nation royalty), the 'started as a Pai Sho club' part could actually work well with the established canon. We see Wan's friends Yao and Jaya playing Pai Sho in Beginnings Part 1, lending to the idea that Wan likely knew the game and that those close to him played it (even if Yao and Jaya themselves didn't found the White Lotus).
The reason I was thinking about this is because with the new 'Avatar Chronicles' books coming out, a story about the second Avatar could come to fruition, and I think exploring the dynamic between this Avatar and the WL would be a very interesting idea.
Caillou prides himself on learning something new every day. Wan Shi Tong is an owl spirit who guards the library in Avatar, who knows 10,000 things. So given 10,000 days, could Caillou become as smart and knowledgeable as Wan Shi Tong?
Beginnings part 1 and 2 are two of my most favorite episodes of Korra and Last Airbender because itโs just fascinating.
The art style is so aesthetically pleasing, even the way the bending is animated is slightly different, which just brings such a unique and cool vibe to that era of the world.
All we know of his life is how he became the Avatar and how he dies, but thereโs so much more to his story they could tell! A series or a movie or a book about him trying to figure out exactly what it means to be the Avatar would be so interesting.
He has no past lives to get advice or knowledge from, something weโve always seen Avatarโs fall back on in times of strife or confusion. He has no past life that can ex-machina his bending back if he lost it, no home beyond the wilds, and a power he probably barely understands.
Is it just me? I just find myself fascinated with his story and the possibilities there
Upon reviewing his feats, I wanted to have a discussion on Wan's firebending prowess. It had been awhile since I last watched the "Beginnings" episodes, and I was genuinely surprised with the scale of his fire attacks, as well as his skill and versatility.
Raw Power:
His feats after first receiving firebending are already very impressive for a beginner. After his training, however, I believe his firebending has some of the highest raw power in the verse (Example 1, example 2, example 3). It's important to note how massive Vaatu and Raava are, and yet some of his fire blasts are comparable to them in size. I think some of these even fall on the lower end of Sozin's Comet-level feats. I can't recall many firebenders producing similar blasts without some kind of amp. Korra's sand shark feat is really all that comes to mind, but feel free to link or discuss similar feats in the comments.
Skill:
Wan's skill with fire is also noteworthy. He's capable of propelling himself with fire jets, which is an extremely valuable mobility tool for firebenders, and can easily turn the tide of certain matchups (note that he's injured in this scene, thus his execution of the technique is a bit sloppy). He's also capable of fluidly redirecting fire blasts from several attackers. This might be one of the only examples of a firebender launching a fire blast back at their opponent rather than just blocking it outright, and it lends well to Wan's skill with the element. He commonly uses fire to slice opponents, a pretty rare technique throughout the series (at least compared to slicing with air and water). This is best seen when he separates Raava and Vaatu, although he also creates fiery slashes and discs earlier on. He also shows great slicing feats while in the Avatar State (Example 1, example 2)
Verdict:
I believe that Wan has the best firebending showings out of any Avatar, although more feats from characters like Roku could dispute this. In my opinion, fire-only Wan is almost good enough to compare to air-only Aan

That said, I've been pondering... we all know Wan had a tough time traveling and learning all the bending styles. However, im interested in knowing how the 2nd avatar (Wan's immediate successor) knew that they needed to travel to also learn the styles.
Anyone able to weigh in on this? I mean, its possible Wan was able to help out, but that just seems like a bit of a cop out. To me at least.
Basically what the title says--who's the strongest opponent Wan (NO AS) can overall surpass under:-
R1) No SC OR FM,just base Wan.
R2) FM is active for both Wan & the opponent he faces--no SC though.
R3) SC is active for both Wan & the opponent he faces--no FM though.
R4) Both SC AND FM is active for Wan & his opponents--still no AS as with all the other rounds.
Bonus) Kyoshi, Roku, Yangcheng, Aang, Korra & Kuruk in base forms without AS VS Wan WITH AS.
Captain Neweyes made an deal with Raava to bring her original 7 avatars to the modern New York, 1993. How would Louie & Cecilia react to them, Could Aang & Louie be good friends?
So I have been surfing some web posts that have been saying that people don't like the new retcon where about the Avatar's origins in Lok, and preferred the original origins instead? But I don't recall the Last Airbender ever delved into the Avatar's origins. What were the Avatar's original origins before the retcon in Lok?
Hello everybody, I am new to this subreddit and english is my second language - so I am sorry for errors in advance. I just finished Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra and was wondering if there were maybe more than 4 elements in the avatar universe? In the first episode of avatar wan a spirit told him that there were dozens of lion turtles after he revealed to them that he was banished from his city. It seemed like each turtle he visited was able to provide him with one element to learn not more. Maybe I am crazy but the fact that aang was given energy bending (5 Element) by one made me wonder if there are more elements out there and wan only picked up 4 of them. I would love to hear your thoughts about it, I am not that familiar with the lore and maybe I missed some explanations so if anyone knows the answer to this I would be really happy.
No as allowed.
R1: vs P'li. During Sozins Commet. Fire nation royal palace. Fire only.
R2: vs Ming Hua. Full moon, South Pole. Water only.
R3: vs Ghazan. Ba Sing Se Catacombs. Earth only.
R4: vs Zaheer. Western Air Temple. Air only
R5: wan (all elements) vs red lotus. Korra national park.
Bonus: Aang (air), korra (water), Kyoshi(earth) wan(fire) vs red lotus. Tree of time, no as, no boosts.
Of course no avatar state. I personally will have to go with zaheer simply because of the fact that he almost beat Korra an avatar that is mostly biased on the physical/bending part of being an avatar so I want to see what the people of Reddit think about this one.
Zaheer implies that Avatar Wan's history with Raava and Vaatu was well known among the members of the Red Lotus organization, but how did they learn this? From what I understood from Book 2, Avatar Wan's backstory had been lost to history until Korra rediscovered it through her visions. Did I miss something? Thanks!
Easily the worst spirit in the series, yes that includes Koh and all the other shitty ones. At least they were up front about how much ass they blew. Wan Shit Ong just shows up and says, "Oh, Avatar, I don't like humans because they abuse knowledge, wahhhh"
Okay, and where the fuck have you been? Fire Nation's been fucking the whole world into submission for over a century. Now, I realize to him that might not seem like very long, but it's not like he didn't notice, because it directly resulted in Zhao's stupid ass pillaging and then burning his shit, then attacking the spirits directly. Did you seriously, in all your infinite wisdom, not notice the goddamn moon evaporating??
Suddenly the Avatar shows up and wants to protect the Spirit and Mortal worlds, and he basically has to be begged and then paid to let them stay there. You might say, "He was just asking for knowledge in return," but that's literally the only thing he values at all, so yeah, this mf hustled the fucking Avatar.
And THEN, when he finds out about their treachery, he's like, "Yeah, I'm gonna protect what I love, fuck y'all" and DIPS
But he doesn't stop there- he also attempts to execute the entire world's last hopes, stretching his big disgusting neck out and screeching monotonically about hanging their heads up on his wall like a fucking poacher
He even goes, "You think you're the first ones to think your war was justified?" like that's a valid criticism at fucking all. Motherfucker, WE'RE NOT THE ONES WAGING IT. The Fire Nation almost entirely genocided the Air Nomads, you know, the pacifistic, most peaceful motherfuckers on the planet that I'm sure you know about since you personally claim to be all-knowing, you conceited prick
They've committed themselves to wiping out entire cultures and assimilating them into theirs, and will continue to do so- isn't that like, antithetical to you entire life's purpose, which is to acquire and stockpile knowledge? That's an entire way of life being erased and purged from the world, and what would you say about it?
Eh, humans amirite
Fuck this guy. I heard he even sides with Unalaq in LoK, which makes him even worse. Not for continuing to be a total bitch, that much we knew, but for siding with the worst fucking villain in all of Avatar. Couldn't have picked Zaheer, or hell, even Kuvira, you had to side with a guy who calls himself the Dark Avatar??
Total bitch, this guy. Anyway thanks for coming to my tedtalk had to get that off my
