A list of puns related to "Australian National University Students Association"
I am an international student for both these UNI'S, got Bachelors in International economics and development(4Y) in Uottawa and Bachelors in Economics(3Y) in ANU.
I am in a dilemma, which university should I choose, I really hope you will assist me in getting the insights/ground situation. Which university do you suggest, the fee structure is pretty similar and yea, Uottawa has CO-OP, whereas ANU doesn't have anything like this.
If you were in my situation, which UNI would you choose? I am also looking for student support, how is the faculty?
The UNA does have one non-voting student seat, filled by the AMS VP external, but no elected student directors.

The objective of this survey is to understand how higher education students adapted to new online learning systems introduced during the pandemic, what needs to be improved and what is the perception of new trends for online education.
Thanks!
Iβm a 20 year old male first year uni student from Australia. Iβd like to study abroad for 12 months between June/July 2023 and June/July 2024.
Iβve always been fascinated by Scandinavia/Nordics, particularly Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland. Your nature is unparalleled, and Iβd love to experience one of your winters haha.
Norway is high on my list on potential countries to study in so I have a few questions Iβd really appreciate if you guys could please answer.
In terms of budget, I can be very frugal with my money and am determined to save for a once in a life time experience like this. Iβm aiming for around 40k AUD (251k NOK) in savings by the time I leave.
My questions are:
Is Norway doable for a year with my budget? Especially taking into account the trips around Europe and within Norway Iβd like to take regularly (once or twice a fortnight), pubs/bars, partying, etc.
What is the social life like at Norwegian Unis in terms of Foreign student engagement, partying, etc.? Im looking at University of Bergen and Uni of Bono particularly since my University is partnered with both.
Is Svalbard worth a trip for a couple days?
I wish I didnβt have to ask this, but I am Turkish by ethnicity and my family is Muslim. (Not hating on my heritage, I love Turkey) I also despise ErdoΔan. I consider myself a cultural Muslim and couldnβt care less about religion, I think itβs all silly. I can drink A LOT but not eating pork is the extent of my βreligiousnessβ haha. I look a bit middle eastern (even though Iβm clean shaven most of the time), and because of this Iβm a bit worried about experiencing racism or getting weird looks. Also, will people I meet treat me differently if I told them my family is Turkish?
Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers!

Basically, I am cleaning my place and I found a disc labelled OpenDvd. I opened it with VLC player and it contains a 8 mins video on it. I don't remember how I come across the disc at all. I am just wondering does anyone know if it has sentimental value to anyone. If not this go straight into the bin
EDIT: since no one is interested in the content of the disc. I will be tossing it in a bin on Nov 27, 2021
I need advice. Iβm interested in doing an exchange at an Australian university for 1 semester. Currently, Iβm in my first year of university in Canada and the exchange would happen in JulyβNov 2023 or the beginning of the 2024 Feb-June. I'm 18 right now but will be 20 (3rd year) when it would happen. I'm currently in my first year doing a bachelor's and double majoring in political science + Gender and Womenβs studies. Lastly, I have lived abroad in Europe before so this wouldnβt be my first time but I was in high school before. Anywaysβ¦
The options that Iβm considering are Montash University, Melbourne; Victoria University, Melbourne; USYD, UNSW, and Griffith University, Brisbane.
My questions: (my question address a couple of different areas but you can just talk about Montash and Melbourne obviously)
I want the real US 'college' experience with great social/student life!
I am looking to go on exchange to Penn State in 2023 and was wondering which semester is it better to come?
From what I've read coming in the Fall Semester will be best as the weather won't be as cold , the football season will be on and the fall semester is your first semester so there will be plenty of new students and things to do!
Will my experience be hindered if I come in the Spring semester?

Which of the above universities/cities are best for students?

I have no idea where in Europe to study in, although Iβve always been fascinated by Scandinavia and the Nordics (nature, winters/summers, etc.), but the costs of living up there are very discouraging :/
Iβd like to be able to travel around Europe during my exchange, like a weekend trip to a different country once or twice a fortnight. A 2 week trip to Iceland has also been on my bucket list for a while now and would love to be able to do that as well.

Do you think I would be better off studying in a more βcentralβ location with better connections to most of Europe, i.e. UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Czech Republicβ¦

For question no. 4, is there any countries I should avoid if there is racism?
Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers!
