A list of puns related to "Aussie Christmas"
Hi! Im currently living in the UK and my Australian friend canโt go home for christmas so I want to throw her a traditional Australian christmas here! She mentioned that you guys just go to the beach and have a bbq? Is that true? What else can I do to make it feel more Aussie?
I'm currently in Japan and wanted to share some Aussie Christmas songs with my English classes. I've gotten Aussie Jingle Bells/Rusty Holden Ute and 6 White Boomers (and a section of Aunty Donna's Chrissie Time) but wondering if anyone else knows some good ones to share.
u/Island-Traveller11 thank you for the lovely Aussie Christmas card! I just got it here in the Midwest, and I'm super excited to try out the fun recipes!
Doing a happy dance as we got more gorgeous cards in the mailbox! Yay!
Thank you to my Secret Santaโs Lady B & BlkAmthyst for the adorable Pop Up card! Itโs so beautiful. Iโve never seen snow! Youโll have to send me a photo of your White Christmas when you can finally escape the country one year! I will write back!
Feliz Navidad u/ChocolateLaowai! Love the card. Itโs beautiful. My father is coveting it for both the stamps and nostalgia! I shall have to message you!
Happy Holidays u/skylineprophets! I love the cat stickers! So cute! And the snowmen are adorable. May you also have many reasons to smile my friend!
Iโm so excited too for your family u/lillyofthelake! I love music so much I canโt wait to hear all about it! Happy Holidays!
Thank you all for the holiday cheer! It was so needed and appreciated. May everyone have a beautiful Festive Season!

During the 3ish month lockdown in Australia, i managed to lose quite a bit of weight. It was mainly because my family was doing all our grocery shopping online so I could stop myself from impulse buying snacks, and i was also doing online yoga every day. I hit my lw ever!
But thennn lockdown ended and I was able to celebrate my 18th birthday with a lot of drinking, then uni holidays started, and then christmas hit me with a final blow. I've gained about 8 kilos, which is super annoying. I haaatee losing weight that i've previously lost, so unsatisfying!! also im finding it hard to motivate myself to get back into healthy habits considering ive gotten used to drinking pretty often and not exercising as much. AHH new year new me tho right???๐ญ๐ญ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฎโ๐จ
My question is open to anyone of course, but some location specific ideas would be great.
My partner (31M) and I (31F) (no kids) are spending our first Christmas Day together without our families. My parents can be a little pushy about seeing them on the actual day (we'll see them during the week just not ON Christmas Day). My sibling with kids gets away with it because he has his own "family". We want to start our own 'family' tradition. I figured we'd cook a roast and play board games and watch a movie but it doesn't sound all that different from a usual weekend. So I'm wondering what kind of places are open on Christmas Day- places to eat, drink or fun/free things to do. I live in metro Adelaide.
This time of year is a massive trigger for me, I don't enjoy it at all. I'd like the day to be centred around just us, and not at all a "Christmas" or "family" thing, except the gift-giving of course.
Do you have any traditions of your own? I'd love to hear yours or your ideas.
So, Iโm bored (whatโs new lol) and itโs Christmas Eve, anyone around 15-17 wanna chat? Maybe keep talking for longer.
Iโve been trying for a while had a few got chats but not quite hit the nail on the head with the long lasting friendship yet, maybe I make the friend tonight (what a Christmas miracle lol)
most of what there is to know about me is in my bio but quickly I like cars, riding dirt bikes and playing games, if any of that resonates with you DM me
