A list of puns related to "Atsc Standard"
Long story short for those who are unfamiliar, ATSC 3.0 is the new standard for which over the air television will be distributed. It's new capabilities are broadcasting in 4k, HDR, etc., and Phoenix is one of the few cities in the nation who are demoing this new standard. So I'm curious to know who are the ones fortunate enough who have access to a TV and tuner capable of decoding this new signal, and what your experience has been like.
Thanks!
Since the standard includes DRM, does that mean that once its adopted and the old standard is retired, we won't be able to use OTA DVR tuners to record broadcasts for free? If so, this is fucking unbelievable. No wonder the FCC approved it, its hardly any innovation for the consumer but lots of innovation for the corporations.
I don't know how to link directly to their post but /r/MeowMixSong on /r/cordcutters posted the article link which can be found here: http://www.streamingobserver.com/atsc-over-the-air-tv-internet/
