I was always curious if Atlantis could defeat high charity including the fleet the protects it.

These guys are very unprofessional and unethical on how they sell their systems.

It all started cause heck, I won a prize, so lets see what their offer is. So they book something and somebody comes for a presentation, not a remote / covid friendly presentation, but in your home.

They required the use of 5 glasses, as well as wanted us to cut up fresh produce for their presentation. Mentioned, "gee, they said they were gonna give us some produce for this demonstration but they didn't!" I just did it so we could get the salesperson out the house, cause No was not going to cut it.

After the demonstration, out came the funny math to show just how much money I'm going to save per month! All this to show just how cheap their system is.

Now for the fun part, their system. They offer a VERY LOW price of only 99$+ tax/month @ 120month!! Not to mention the crazy contract clauses to ensure you don't pay any less than 12,000$ for their 1200$ system.

Once we declined the offer, the salesperson decided to call her boss to "let him know she's still safe", where she then puts us on speakerphone with the boss who started the spiel all over again after continuoyusly rejecting the offer, then starts saying, well, we can offer you 9 months free, but you can save that 9 months of money and put it the next 9 months and you get 18 months free!

All while he was pushing this, he kept asking very personal financial questions that he has no reason to know. What my credit score was, how much revenue my business is making, then when he found out I ran my own business, he starts off by saying how interested he is in my line of work and wants to invest. SO MANY RED FLAGS!!

While this was going, this person who is FAR from essential work, was in my home for 45 minutes and could not get the hint that NO I am not interested and then puts me on the phone with their second chance salesman while she packed up her little chemistry kit.

Now lets go on to the prize, the reason I figured I couldn't lose since it's covid and any presentation would be pretty basic, turns out I was wrong and the prize they gave was a "VIP Perks" card, which it's service area is not in the Maritimes and it's all American business. Not like I plan on going to Disney and save a whole 12$!

Hello friends. My name is Orion, I'm sure you're somewhat familiar with the name by now. I've been content to merely spectate as Joanna posted articles of various incidents that The Institute has dealt with. At her urging, I've taken it upon myself to tell my own story, of how I came to possess the powers that I do, my role in founding The Institute, and in particular: a certain event that took place roughly 7,500 years ago. Said event will, I hope, explain the logic behind my insistence upon Joanna publishing the account of the creatures we call Joy Hunters. My story begins more than five billion years ago, and in another universe.

I was born in a town called Runeswood, which does not exist in your universe. As a youth, I was always considered to be exceptionally intelligent. If I applied my mind to anything, I would always achieve the highest results possible. I graduated from Secondary School with the highest grades in the country for someone of that educational level. So it was very very strange to everyone who knew me when I enlisted to join the British Army. There is logic to that, of course. While it's true that I could have chosen any intellectual career path, none of them thrilled me. My gift with knowledge meant that I was never really taxing my mental faculties. I merely had to apply myself to some degree, and anything I didn't know beforehand would very quickly fall into place. I wanted to challenge myself, but mentally that just wasn't proving to be possible, and so I chose to challenge myself physically instead. True enough, I could have chosen the path of martial arts, or various outdoor pursuits, but none of those really serve a purpose beyond entertainment, or some very limited application that many people can go their entire life without making use of. Military service on the other hand, serves a purpose. At least, it served more of a purpose in my universe than it does in yours. While many events in both universes are the same, there are also considerable differences. I will not go into detail however as it diverts from the topic of the story.

In the Army, I continued to excel, though not to the same degree that I did academically. Physical fitness is something that anyone can achieve, and so I had competition. Firearm proficiency was just the same. The only places I could excel, similarly to Joanna, were in areas of strategy. Once I had completed training, I was to enter active duty, but my first tour was not at all what I was expecti

The only Tomb Raider games i've played was the Anniversary and it's original. BTW, Anniversary is the only one i've finished because that's the one i've played as a kid.

Right now i'm playing Tomb Raider 1 from 1996 and i love it so far. I got used to the controls and it's really satisfying to play a game that doesn't use "magnets" to grab ledges, so everything i do, i do myself.

But i'm unsure of the new trilogy... from all what i've seen it looks... well, like some survival game. Bunch of jungles, people and... a bow? Where's twin guns?
Tell me, is this yet another modern game that abandoned Rule of Cool for the sake of bland realism? There's no Dinosaurs and Skateboard Kid as bosses? There's no demonic mummies and high-tech Atlanteans that look like Bionicle characters? Yet again for the sake of "Immersive story" they sacrificed cool things so players could get "Immersed more"? As in "Oh my god, am i fighting a skateboard kid in such a dangerous place? This is so stupid, it breaks my immersion, ugh" - is that how modern players react to this?

Sure those Rule of Cool things were pointless and not realistic... but that was awesome. I miss the times when Lara was so awesome, that she didn't care if a plane crashed behind her. I miss the good old times of "Cool Girls don't look at explosions"

...So... is there anything cool in new TR games? I still will play them eventually just for the sake of knowledge, because i don't care, it's just videogames. But i don't see me having a truly enjoyable experience with them without those cool things.
