A list of puns related to "Association For Contextual Behavioral Science"
All free pdfs I've checked online are the 2nd edition (2016). I don't know how different it is from the new 3rd edition (2019).

Also what's the workload like if you took it? Is it a good gpa-booster class?
Hi,
can someone kindly share Gravetter, F.J., Wallnau, L.B., Forzano, L.B. & Witnauer, J. E. (2021) Essentials of statistics for the behavioral sciences (10th ed.) with me? Please make sure it's the CANADIAN edition.
thanks

I'm an MPH student in US and graduating this May (concentration in Health Promotion/Behavior). I've figured out my biggest passions are implementation science/intervention design and social/behavioral health... particularly in global contexts-- vulnerable populations in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa in particular.
I've narrowed my choices of PhD schools WAY down... most I've selected are called "Social and Behavioral Sciences" or the like. However, there is a really good program in Epidemiology I've been looking at-- but all the coursework is very quantitative/analytical. I connected with a professor within the program who was REALLY enthusiastic about my background, despite it being very qualitative (I have degrees in anthropology and journalism, and 10 years working in broadcast news).
TL;DR My question is this-- if my interests are in influencing behavior by designing/evaluating interventions ultimately, do you think it's still a good idea to go with a PhD in Epi? Thanks!
How is this class? May take it in the spring. Is it a new prof? can't find any info on rate my professor
Basically what the title says, looking to think a bit more critically lately. I've read all the Gladwell and Kahneman books, I also love 'The Social Animal.'
Would love to hear from Gladwell fans and what else they're reading, thank you!
Hello everyone so I just received my associates in behavioral and social sciences and am now working towards getting my second AA in sociology by the end of this fall. I’m very interested in pursuing an internship or job related to either, or possibly both. I’m clueless as to where I should look or who to talk to for this matter. I really take interest in the dynamics of race and ethnicity in society and would like to do something alone those lines, but I’m also interested in mental health. I’m planning on talking to my professors about such matters but would also love to hear what options other people know or have done. I’m in California by the way, thanks for reading.
Hi everyone! I was just accepted to Purdue for Brain and Behavioral Sciences. I was wondering if anyone knows about the difficulty of the major/what it entails? Thanks so much!
I don't mean in so many words, but does current psychology validate developing an urge to kill if you've been through what Dexter >!and Harrison experienced, witnessing the bloody murder of a parent as a very young child?!<
Or is the Dark Passenger a fictional premise created by the author of the Dexter book series?
Any psychology professionals or students out there who would care to talk about this?
