A list of puns related to "Artrave"
Hi everyone, I just took the video recording of the ArtRAVE in Paris in 2014 and turned it into a live album. I kept all the instrumental interludes, but I got rid of the spoken ones. Also, I edited the transitions from where I got rid of spoken interludes so that it's completely seamless (except the transition from Swine to the encore Gypsy). Lastly, I did a small amount of audio editing, mainly so that the loudness is more similar to most music on iTunes, etc, as opposed to Youtube audio.
There are two zip files on Google Drive available to download:
A small note: while it's all seamless, I have noticed that when I was checking the transitions, iTunes would play a small gap between tracks if I played less than the last 10 seconds or so of the track. Hopefully, you guys won't experience this glitch, but if you play the whole track, you should be fine. Or maybe it's just my version of iTunes. Who knows. Anyway, this is just so you're aware in case it happens β everything should be seamless.
Ok, from one Little Monster to the rest of you guys, thank you to everyone who downloads and listens; hope you're all doing well and staying safe :)
Iβm legitimately wondering like those who were and Werenβt first in line
I know this was asked before in previous threads but I still can't find a suitable version of this show.
Does anyone have a good version of this show? The ones on YouTube are distorted and are very choppy. I used to have an HD version I had saved to my computer but I lost it when my computer died. I'd really appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of a good quality video! I know SOMEONE has to still have it!
Thanks in advance!!
First thing first, here are the things I wish I knew before going to the artRAVE:
-DRESS CRAZY. There is NO such thing as too much. Someone will always be dressed crazier than you.
DON't WAIT IN LINE!!! I had read that there was no need to wait in line. It's true. I walked around the GA to every spot I wanted. That's the beauty of this stage. I didn't listen. I got there at 11 a.m. I was so tired by the time the show started. I mean, I was full with energy once Gaga came out, but I just wish I wasn't tired (and sunburned).
SKIP THE OPENING ACTS! Seriously. I'm sorry, but Hatsune Miku and Lady Starlight were such a waste of time. The energy really went down.
-Here's the BEST spot to sit. Also, depending on venues, the GA might not be as big as the picture shown. (The purple is the best place. TRUST ME. She spends most of the time there. The yellow is were she went the LEAST. The red line is where the GA ended. And the blue was empty most of the time, unless she passed by. The main stage is fine, but you're so far away from her due to the moat.)
I took these two videos from where I was:

Gypsy: (She sweat on me here!!!!!) http://instagram.com/p/o1TPpZSKyL/
Hopefully that helps you make up your mind!
Now, the show.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT it is AMAAAAZING! I can't even describe it!
You NEED to experience it. The venue was crowded, Lady Gaga seemed to be full of energy. She seemed to really like the crowd. She gave it 120%!
The only down side would be when she played Just Dance/Poker Face. It didn't fit the show and it felt she did because she HAD to. She should've put some of BTW more "rave-ish" songs.
Born This Way on the piano was kind of like turning the lights on in the middle of a party, but seeing everyone around hugging each other and understanding the message of unity was awesome.
The show was amazing. That's all there is to it. You need to see it. Even if it's from the nosebleeds.
If you have any questions about the show I'm willing to answer.
P.S. Shoutout to reddit user MissesMisanthropy who looked awesome with her apron and seashell bikini!
So who's interested? We're talking about getting the cheapest seats @ $35 + whatever fees about $45 after fees on IRC so thought we could gauge interest here. Tickets go on sale 3/31 so we have time to set up a group buy for the best cheap seats :x
Update 1 (3/20@1400PST): Pre-Sales start this coming Monday 3/24 @ 10AM; 4 tickets maximum per little monster early access code
Update 2 (3/23@1630PST): There's presales for parking as well. Prices ranges from $18-25 + fees based on the pricing from the 7/21 show. You can order one for yourself here or let me know which lot you want to park in and I'll include it in the ticket order.
Update 3 (3/24 @ 1030PST): So Pre-sale tickets are live. The P4 $35.00 + fees seats are not available so I'll be getting the next one up which is $49.50 + fees = $62.xx. Ticket sales are done automatically as "best seats available" so some crappy sections are being filled first. Holding out for seats with a better angle. Also, the likelihood of getting 7 consecutive seats is probably a non-starter. Most likely we'll be in the same section but not together (3+4).
Update 4 (3/24 @ 1230PST): I give up. Presales seem to be very limited for the "cheaper" seats. I'm going to try again tomorrow through the citibank early access and hope they open up better sections.
Update 5 (3/24 @ 1330PST): So apparently the site updated and you can choose sections now. Not sure when it changed but I ended up getting Section 301, Row 3, Seats 6-12. Total price was $62.50 as they're the 2nd to the lowest priced seats. You guys can ping me on IRC to get info on sending payment by paypal or chase quickpay.

I haven't seen a lot of comments from Little Monsters that were actually in attendance at artRave, so I figured I could answer questions for those that weren't there!
I've seen a bunch of posts here and around the web of girls getting really into dressing up for the upcoming artRave concerts and a lot of the stuff i've seen is so cool!
Gaga herself even took to twitter to tell anyone going that they should dress up since it's going to be 'out of this world'. I'm beyond excited!
But that being said, I haven't seen much talk about what guys should wear. I was just going to go in jeans and a t-shirt with "Artpop" written across my face or something like that, but i'm curious to know what other guys are planning on wearing. Thanks!
tonight was my second artRAVE and she sang it. It was amazing and perfect. I was so happy. It was impromptu after a note a fan wrote asking her. I was too caught up and amazed to take a video but there might be one up soon.
My friend and I have GA/LMZ tickets. I've seen different information all over littlemonsters.com about the process and I'm desperate to hear from someone who had LMZ tix who has already been to the show. I've gathered that there is a separate line for GA tix & one for LMZ tickets. On our St. Paul event page, someone called "Taylor Germanotta Sandhofner" posted that he will be handing out line markers so we are able to leave the line and come back later to claim our spot. Anyone know how I can tell if he is legit and/or shed some light on what time we should get there to line up, etc? I'd really appreciate it, thank you!
Is anyone going to the Dallas artRave? If you are could we set up a deal where you could by me a program? I like to collect the ones from concerts I go to but, they sold out at the San Antonio one before the show even started. I could pay you for it and the shipping!
Hiyas all!
This question is mainly targeted at UK monsters but I would like to know at other countries as well.
I went to the Birmingham ArtRave and the atmosphere was shit. No joke, I was standing and everyone just seemed really boring :(
I mean the first opening act was shit, and I can understand why everyone was kind of looking at each other to say 'what the fuck is this guy doing'.
But for 90% of the ArtRave it felt like people didn't want to be there. Especially for a artRAVE
Sad really, I went to Manchester in 2012 and it was amazing. Sadly I was seated.
I dunno. Opinions on this? What's it been like everywhere else?
