I meant to post this earlier, but I forgot. Here were some key points he touched on:
Ladd:
Cynically, Staple thinks they could be showing him he has no future in an attempt to entice him to retire. Said on a scale of 1-10, he thinks it's a 5 as to whether they're able to move him. Seattle is unlikely to want him. Arizona and Detroit are more likely, though any Ladd trade would most likely have to include the Isles' 2022 first rounder, which the organization will be hesitant to give up right now.
Leddy:
Thinks Minnesota and Chicago could be options, as well as some rebuilding teams who could flip him at the deadline (ARZ, BUF, DET.) Return probably won't be much though since the Isles have no leverage, so probably just a draft pick in return. Also thinks that Seattle would definitely take him in expansion if he's exposed.
Defense options:
If Leddy leaves, the organization probably isn't comfortable with putting Salo or Bolduc into the lineup full time, so another vet would likely come in along with Greene. He mentions Chara or Staal as potential options here. Alec Martinez could be an option as well. Suter is unlikely since he'll be expensive.
Prospects:
He thinks that Bellows has no future in this organization and Koivula is most likely to make an NHL impact of our current crop. Golyshev could make the roster, but it's hard to see him wanting to play in the AHL.
