A list of puns related to "Army Board"
I've got myself a 2x2' timber (MDF) board (9mm) and glued a 1.5" layer of XPS foam on top. Great! OK where to now?
This project is a display board for a Warhammer 40K army, so it will mostly comprise flat areas where miniatures can stand. It's a sci-fi post-post-apocalypse theme, an industrial complex that is ruined and destroyed with potential for ancient and high-tech elements. The board would display an army in my local Games Workshop store.
The terrain I'm hoping to achieve is 40% industrial surface such as flat concrete, metal or other partially intact flooring, 50% rubble with stones, gravel and concrete fragments forming a largely flat surface though with potential for artifacts or tech components scattered about, and 10% industrial pipe and toxic sludge (this part would be non-flat terrain).
On top of that I do have some polystyrene packaging which seems to make sense as a sci-fi building formation, which would provide a raised area with plenty of flat surface for miniatures. I could limit the height of the structure so that it doesn't impose too much on the scene since it will be heflty and solid. I am also considering purchasing the Games Workshop Command Edition Battlefield Expansion Set which would give me the industrial pipes and two thin building "corners" with upper floors for visual variety and miniature placement. The buildings would be located at the back wall of the board, creating a thin and permeable backdrop.
I've done a resin pour test of the toxic sludge and I'm happy with the results so that I can apply that technique to the board. I am planning to dig a single narrow channel in the foam surface for the toxic sludge to flow through, and connect that to the pipe system. The channel would be around an inch or less wide and maybe half an inch deep? I could drop it deeper for a more dramatic effect, but that might be over-kill.
I am wondering if I should create a "ramp" for vehicles to climb up onto the surface of the board, but however this might detract from the physical structure of the flat surface that I am creating. I'm thinking about how to treat the vertical edges of the board in general. To preserve that horizontal look of the board it's probably a good idea to avoid building a ramp into it.
Questions!
Cds bipin rawat, his wife and other senior officers were on board
Idk if anyone has been through this but a buddy I know is getting chaptered out on frat charges. Theyβre trying to give him an OTH, he qualifies for the review board and heβs gonna try to fight it. Does anyone know what that consists of? Is it in person in front of a bunch of higher ups, is it on paper? Everything online is about VA discharge upgrades
Graphics: 2D seen from above. The graphics were cartoon-ish.
Gameplay: You started the game on a map seen from above and you could freely walk on it. You could build your army that consisted of different units like archers, infantry, cavalry (I think they were different colours green, blue, yellow). The encounters with enemies were played on board. It was split in half, yours and the enemy. The goal was to switch the units so they could form the row of 3 (sth like puzzle quest but you didn't align gems but the units themselves). Then they rushed at the enemy board. Oh and horizontal rows of 3 created walls and vertical rows of 3 created attacking groups.
Plot: It was your standard "evil guy steals some magic orb, kills your parents/friends and you have to save the world". You started as an elf in a forest i think.
Note: It miiight have been later released on android but i'm not sure.
