Could you do it directly? Did you need to interface with a decoder chip? How did you accomplish it?

I was using the 429 box earlier today to adjust a thrust lever angle transducer on a 767-200. I was curious if any of you guys may have used this box before? I could only get it to show the current degree indication, so when my collegue would try to adjust I would have to go back through the inputs to get back to the new indication. Is there anyway to do a sort of live feed on inputs such as that?

I'm an avionic student and I'm currently looking into the Arinc 429 and the navigation system of the A310. I'd like to know if it's possible to select a different frequency on ILS 1 and 2. Exemple 111.1 MHz on ILS #1 and 109.3 MHz on ILS #2?
We need a programmer to evaluate our ARINC 429 solution.
The PC software is written in Microsoft .net C#
The hardware is composed of a Holt Integrated Circuits HI-3282 and a Renesas M30290 microcontroller running embedded C code.
We are looking for a ten hour review of the overall system for a fresh point of view. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the ARINC 429 protocol. Embedded experience is a must.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

Is there any way to change the deflection scale of the CDI on the G5 HSI page? It seems to be 1 dot = 1 nm. I'd like to have full deflection be 0.5 miles or so. There doesn't seem to be any setting to adjust, and the manual doesn't offer much help. EDIT: This is for VFR navigation. G5 connected to G430. The manual says: "NOTE: The VFR CDI Scale is displayed when the G5 is connected to a GPS navigator via RS-232 only, or if ARINC 429 GPS navigation data is unavailable." Thanks!
