Hey everybody, you may remember me from my work on Unabridged and a few other modpack/mod contributions over the years. I've been working on a new modpack in 1.18 after not being super active in the community for quite a while. Also I'm interested in playing again.
In this pack, i'd like to showcase and include mods that promote exploration, building and decoration, and a bit of tech and magic.
In the exploration department I have terralith as the biome mod, with a few mods that add features to worldgen, such as dungeons, structures, and mobs. I want to showcase the new vanilla caves and generation but also have some extra without going too far.
For tech, I really want the pack to be focused around Create, and that's probably where I'm struggling most. I'm REALLY on the fence about "high tech mods", refined storage, big reactors, pipes, immersive engineering even. On one hand, they are more things to do in the game, and also add a lot of conveniences. However, some of those conveniences might discourage use of create to solve problems. Like do you want the option to autocraft and store your items fairly easily with refined storage, or do you want to be forced into designing storage systems using create?
Also I've included some magic mods: Ars Noveau, Occultism, Schools of Magic, Roots Classic.

I am currently ar 18 and i have itto in my first ten pull and i want to know what is your recommended artifact,team, weapon for an ar 18 itto main?
I know they're pretty much ubobtanium at the moment, does anyone have a line on when somebody is either planning a run of them or receiving them in stock? You'd figure with all the kits that were dumped onto the market several months to a year back that somebody would spin up a run of them or otherwise be able to source, but I have nothing nor even a forecast.
Currently building an Aero M5 with a 308 criterion 18β barrel. Would it be redundant to build a separate 22β 308 Aero M5 in order to achieve greater distances?
