A list of puns related to "Apache Wave"
Was always curious for Google/Apache Wave. But when I could finally get my hands on it, it turned out looking ugly. Here's how cool it looked back in 2008 as Developer Preview: https://tctechcrunch2011.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/google_wave_snapshots_inbox.png
But if you run localhost "Wave In A Box" (Apache Wave 0.4) server these days it looks like this: https://www.gratissoftware.nu/images2/apache-wave-2.jpg
Google is going to abandon more and more projects.

Anyone know whatβs going on?
Iβve heard them, like. Three times today and a couple times yesterday, I think.
Donβt normally see/hear them.
Massive cleanout and slimming down of the collection. Planning to only keep a couple at this point and letting the rest go. Yolos take priority, PM for any questions. Will consider trades, but mostly looking at customs and some midtechs lately. Also looking for CRKs with DOB 9/25/21.
As of 6/30/21 @ 7:50AM PST, I plan on making a trip to USPS at 1PM so if you get your yolos in by then, I'll get it shipped out today.
JG Aero [B] SV 1300 --Β Hand satin drop point blade, blue arctic storm fat carbon scales, and blue ano lockbar/thumbstud. This piece is a work of art; the scales are insanely beautiful and the Guthrie craftsmanship shines throughout. Centered, locks up solid, and fires smooth. Not first owner, but excellent shape.
Eutsler F.U.K. [B] SV 1100 -- Recently picked up this Zirc FUK, but it's unfortunately not sure if itβs for me. It's a fantastic piece with smooth action and drop. It has minor wear from carry. Just wanting to recover what I paid. β UPDATE. Full disclosure, Iβve been carrying this today and its growing on me. Not wanting to let this go unless a ridiculous offer comes (per last owner, he had bought it for 1100 just a few weeks ago, I bought it for 810). Iβm ok not selling this for now so Iβm bringing the price up to 1100.
Shirogorov Neon Zero ME Frag with Bronze Tumble [B] SOLD -- Classic Shiro action and drop shutty goodness. IMO, the size and weight of the Neon Zero is the perfect EDC. Not first owner, but excellent shape. Scales and clip have minor wear/snail trails. Blade is immaculate.
CRK Small Sebenza 31 [C] SOLD -- Light user Small Seb 31. Carried often, used only for packages and letters. I recently disassembled, cleaned, greased. It's smoooooth. Not first owner.
Protech Malibu [B] SOLD -- LNIB. Black anodized aluminum handle, stonewash finished blade. Typical smooth action and drop. Never carried or cut. B for not being first owner.
Urban EDC F5.5 [B] SOLD -- In carbon fiber and Elmax. This is fun one. Snappy yet smooth. Not the first owner, but doesn't look to have been carried or cut with.
Pena X Series Apache [A+] SOLD -- This is NIB, opened only for the picture. I just bought this from Knife Center from their recent drop in the limited burnt orange micarta. Paid $300 so hoping to just eat the cost of PP fees and shipping since, unfortunately, I don't see myself carrying it.
He was a subject matter expert in artillery missions up to the battalion level. Could even fill in as an infantry squad leader in a pinch because his first deployment didnβt have a need for fisters so he spent 15 months doing 11b shit in Iraq.
Best goddamn NCO I ever knew. Heβd yank his section off to the shadows after every piece of training and have us shuck our ranks and stand in tan tees and bare heads so we could all talk as men about things that went wrong, things that went right, what we learned, what we struggled with. And then heβd adjust our training calendar accordingly.
Had a drinking problem that he kept under control when I knew him, but the reason that he was an E5 wrangling newbies instead of an E6 up in DIVARTY somewheres is because he almost got kicked out for drunk driving as a boot, but his NCO personally appealed to ole sarmage and saved his ass.
His head was all fucked up. Two tours in Iraq in the bad old days and one in Afghanistan. Heβd eaten too many IEDs in his time. The human brain just ainβt designed to get rattled that hard, that often. He was supposed to go back with us in 2014 for his fourth trip but the doctors slapped him with a diagnosis instead. So he waved us adieu at the tarmac instead, wished us luck and told us to be careful.
He loved the absolute shit out of those lemonade things they got at the PX, the Calypsos. He was an acknowledged master of the gentle art of Spades and could catch a reneger in a heartbeat. He had a PhD in Redneck Engineering with a spool of 550 cord, and had terrible credit because his first wife had maxed out his cards while he was in Iraq before leaving him.
Everything that flew was a Blackhawk to him. AC130, Apaches, drones, civilian airliners, F-16s, everything. It was a running gag from our simulated training where he could conjure up enemy blackhawks and see if we could shoot skeet with the 155mms. βCobra base, this is cobra blue fox, fire for effect, over. AA12345678, direction 2670, over. Two enemy blackhawks landing in the open, VT, over.β
I loved the sonofabitch.
He got promoted just before he had a run in with some prick E8 and got kicked out, the details of which I never received. He became a civilian while we were off in Shindand province rigorously guarding towers and gates. And a few months after we landed safe and sound stateside again, he died in a car crash, the details of which I never received. It wouldnβt shock me to know there was alcohol involved; things work out t

There was a significant wave of bankruptcies among marine exploration and drilling companies, while the strongest Transocean survived the crisis. A permanent oil price above $ 50 could boost marine research. And new marine deposits such as Suriname (Apache), Brazil (Petrobras, Galp) or Guyana (ExxonMobil) could bring significant growth. U.S. companies may focus on external markets, including major international marine deposits, due to tighter regulations. Chevron and ExxonMobil are thinking about this, which could bring a big increase in demand for Transoceanβs services. Last week, we wrote that 10 million shares were bought by insiders, which we thought was a huge amount. In the period since then, an additional 18 million shares have been purchased by board members. Although the stock price is 18% higher than last week, we think it may still be worth getting on.

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.
So far nobody has given me a straight answer
I am currently in the hospital. I had a back operation yesterday. The surgical nurse came in my room and started asking questions about my back. She asked me if I had any falls during the last year. I responded just one. It was after summer.
She laughed and said in 20 years of doing this she never was told that joke.
..... Will get a reward.

I've bought a lot, now thinning the herd to buy some more. No trades at this time, thanks!
Grimsmo Rask #389 v2 Starburst [B+] - SV 1800
First up is this Rask I recently won this from a raffle. I've pretty much spent the equivalent of this knife on raffles so need to loosen some funds. It's absolutely stunning. It has a stonewashed blade and Starburst titanium in bronze with silver hardware. The fit and finish is *muah*. The action is snappy and smooth. Comes with the case, oil, tool, and COA. B+ only bc I'm not the first owner.
Now, here's the Timestamp for everything else:
TRM Neutron 2.0 w/contoured CF scales [B] - SOLD
Recently picked this up off the swap. It's a fantastic knife, just not for me. I handled it once and put it back; looking to sell it for how much I bought it for and eat the cost of fees/shipping. Here's the description per the last owner: "Beautiful contoured CF scales that shimmer in the sun and melt into your hand (retail $95+ shipping), 20cv stonewash blade that cuts like a f*ckin scalpel and looks classy AF while doing it. Snappy action, centered blade, very solid lockup and no play. Just a really good all-around knife with great scales."
Pena X Series Apache [A+] - SV 300
This is NIB, opened only for the picture. I just bought this from Knife Center from their recent drop in the limited burnt orange micarta. Paid $300 so hoping to just eat the cost of PP fees and shipping since, unfortunately, I don't see myself carrying it.
Pena X Series Zulu [C] - SV 250 β
I only flipped this a few times since getting it. Ended up snagging this before the Apache. C for mods. Comes with box. Per last owner: "Hand polished titanium frame, dyed micarta, a real fancy boy! perfect action, centering, and lock up. second owner, original edge, i never cut with it. some signs of carry on backspacer."
Protech Cambria [C] - SV 260
Bought this as a bundle with a Malibu. Keeping the Malibu only. Taken out only for pics. Comes with box. Per last owner: "[C] due to one small Knick on the scale as pictured otherwise itβs perfect. Never sharpened and itβs still sharp."
Benchmade Bugout 535-3 with CF Elite scales [C] - SV 190
This Bugout is a 535-3 S90v blade with CF elite scales from a BK-2, gray BK-2 barrel spacers and a black thumb stud. Blade is wicked sharp, the action is smooth, and the centering is perfect. It's b
