Happy Monday! This is the Dub Check-In, your weekly anime news recap, breaking down the latest and greatest in this ever-changing landscape of entertainment insanity that is anime.
In this week's edition, we're breaking down two shifts in the dynamics of the anime streaming wars: HiDive/Sentai Filmworks' acquisition by AMC Networks, and Retrocrush is being acquired too! There's breaking down the near-final wave of TV anime licensed this season; the usual roundup of unlicensed announcements and Wakanim, Toonami and Bushiroad return to the roundup with some news to share!

So here are three cases that I think might be linked.
The December 1975 murder of Lindy Sue Biechler
This is the case of the three that has the most evidence. Lindy Sue Biechler was a 19-year old woman who was murdered in her Lancaster, PA apartment on the evening of December 5, 1975 while her husband was away at work. Lindy had visited her husband at the car rental place he worked at, then went to the grocery story. She arrived at her home at Spring Manor Apartments around 6:30 p.m. Her aunt and uncle found her stabbed death about 11 times in her apartment. Her front door was unlocked, suggesting she either knew her attacker, or they had slipped into her apartment while she was bringing groceries in.
In the weeks leading up to her death, Lindy expressed fear to her friends and family that she was being stalked.
Her gravestone was later vandalized, and police were sent a letter by someone who claimed responsibility for her murder and the vandalization of her gravestone.
They do have DNA on the case, and a DNA composite sketch has been made of her killer, suggesting that he had brown hair and hazel eyes. He would likely be in his mid-60's to mid-70's by now, if he's alive.
The June 1980 disappearance of Anne Manchester
Of the three cases, this case has the least amount of available information. Anne Manchester was a 26-year old business student who was last seen alive on June 29, 1980 at her home in the Villa Belmont Apartments in Newark, Delaware. She was studying for her final exams to complete her MBA for the University of Delaware. She was visited by a male friend around noon, and then talked to a female friend on the phone around 2 p.m. Nothing seemed wrong or amiss. Her parents reported her missing when they came back from a vacation on July 8th and couldn't get in contact with her.
Her front door was unlocked, nothing was misplaced in her apartment, and it looked as though she had just left her apartment for a short time and intended to be right back. There has been no reported sightings and her body has never been found. Here is the Charley Project profile on Anne.

What's going on r/phish?? It's so nice to be back and such an honor to host the setlist thread for the big return. It's been an incredibly difficult past year and I hope that everyone has been able to make the best of it. I've had a lot of thoughts on what I could say about what has happened since the last Phish but all I truly feel I can say now is that I feel for all who have been negatively affected by the shitshow that was 2020 and I hope that tonight can be, as a wise man once said, "a beacon of light, in a world of flight." I hope you all will join me in escaping from what has been our reality for the past ~17 months and just appreciating the cathartic release that tonight will be.

JoAnn's, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and WalMart are not good fabric stores. I've been repeatedly disappointed by making something and having the fabric wear out on the 2nd or 3rd wash. They're all dead to me now.
The problem I'm running into is that it's easy to find a quilting fabric shop around here but not a clothing fabric shop. The only one I've found is Sew to Speak in Columbus but it's a small shop with a pretty narrow selection. Does anyone know of any other fabric shops that carry higher quality fabric suitable for daily clothing in Central Ohio. I'm on the east side of the metro area, so somewhere between Reynoldsburg and Newark would be preferred but at this point, I'd drive to Zanesville, Lancaster, Delaware, or even Dayton for a really good store.
When I got home, they were still there.
