Hi just bought these from eraldo (1st time purchase + got a discount of 15% or smth) and the box arrived damaged and the soles also look damaged. Anyone purchased these boots and received them like that? Can I also have a LC because they feel very light compared to the ones I tried in store (just a feeling I’m not sure).

The folds are because i just wore them and it appeared so quickly, all the other marks were there already.

Hey all,

I was thinking of picking up these boots from Player Shoes, but I'm still kind of iffy on the sizing. From what I read, they tend to run large, but according to the chart, I would have to size like 2 or 3 sizes down. My questions are:

1. How accurate is the sizing chart? I'm a 42 usually in Converses, a 43 in Nikes, and a 41 in boots such as retail SLP wyatts. According to the chart, I should go with a 39?

2. How is the width of the shoe and the roominess of the toebox? I've got a bit of a wide foot, so I'll size up for shoes that are more narrow. For reference, I can do a shoe with an insole of 275cm if there is a bit more width or stretch to shoe. If it's narrow and it there isn't much stretch, I tend to go for a shoe with an insole of 280cm.

EDIT: I ended up going with the size 40, I'll see how it fits in a few weeks. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

UPDATE: I received the shoes a few weeks later and just want to say that size 40 is a good fit for me. I measured out my foot and its a little over 260cm, like 262-263. I like having a little bit of toe room in the front, so this fits me just fine. I'm really loving the boot. Thanks everyone!

Ann Demeulemeester back lace boots with 6cm heel from Player Shoes, size 39. They fit larger so can accommodate sizes from 39-41. Personally I am a 40 and wore with two pairs of socks.

Wore in total for about a week, slight sign of heel wear and clear creasing. Will clean up before sending.

These are size 43 but are a size too big and meant for people who are Size 44/US 11. Only buy them if you are a size 11/44

• Cav Empt Neon Green Tee(Size M) SOLD Pictures Bought this ages ago just dont wear it and its sitting in my closet. Measurements: 19.5 inches pit to pit 27.5 inches length

• Cav Empt Purple Tee (Size M) $30 shipped Pictures Same as the green one. I've also noted there is a small stain in the inside of the neckline of the tee. Not noticable when wearing just something to note. Measurements: 20 inches pit to pit. 27.5 inches length

• Margiela FW18 Runway Trousers(30x33) SOLD Pictures Forgot the seller but this was from the very first batch that was found on the sub. They are closer to retail in the sense they arent intentionally flared like other batches. Like retail due to the long length they kind of "flare" or stack on your legs creating a flared effect. Fits a size 30

• Hysteric Glamour Hagi Denim (30x30) SOLD Pictures Did a review of these over on the sub but just dont see myself wearing them enough knowing I have retail. Fits a size 30

There have been posts about these previously so I won't go into to too much detail apart from the sizing. These fit TTS for my sneaker size (US10 - 44) based on advice from someone on this sub - glad I did because a 43 definitely would have been too tight. If you are looking for a 1:1 rep these are not for you but I am happy for the price.

 

Player Shoes Jakob Hetzer 1981 Loafers: imgur // W2C 498yuan

Again, these have been QC'd/reviewed previously but I will reiterate the sizing is large. For narrow or regular width feet I would recommend sizing down twice. I sized down to a 43 and only get a comfortable fit by double bagging my dogs and using an insole. I get a lot of wear out of them - great for styling like JH/Owen Hyatt/Garrett Wilson. Between these and my Weejuns I won't need another pair of loafers for a while. ​
