Round 1:
The Assasins Guild from Discworld is transported to Avengers movie universe. They have six months to get used to it and learn. Can they take him?
Round 2:
Tony Stark becomes the new Watch Commander. The Guild is hired to kill him. Assuming he can't recharge his suit, and that he has access to two diffefent ones, how long can he survive?
Bonus: The Assasins and Iron Man are sent to a Rennaisance Earth. Vimes and Carrot want to help Tony, but he's actively trying to avoid them. What happens?
I came up with the idea of a gang based off the Ankh Morpork city watch from the discworld novels but with a warhammery, sci-fi twist. Aside from the concept I don’t know where I would go with this idea. Does any one who roughly knows what they look like have an idea of conversion bits I could use, models I could use as bases or even what I could run them as?
Hey all! I am making my first book nook and wanted to make it disc world themed. If your unfamiliar, a book nook is basically a book size diorama that can slide into a book shelf next to books and give a little glimpse into the books "world". My book nook is looking down a cobble stone street, now I am making the buildings on each side.
I originally wanted to build it around the city watch but I am having trouble finding what the building might look like. I feel like I recall a description in Guards Guards but I couldn't find it when I thumbed through. I thought maybe doing the unseen university but I think creating one of the gates would be outside what my talent permits.
Does anyone know of any areas in the city of Ankh-Morpork that are well described and would suit a city street? Or does anyone know a good description of the city watch building? Thanks!
Just a thought. If you can't touch the Ankh and tap water isn't a thing, what are people drinking? And I know there were moments in time that beer was actually safer to drink than water in cities, but that is not an option for post-sobriety Vimes, for instance.
Finished the Death series, I’m working my way through the City Watch series, just finished Feet of Clay. When I was reading Monstrous Regiment, as an Americanit felt like Borogravia is the United States equivalent on the Disc (pointless wars with other countries, Maladict’s flashbacks, “Don’t ask, don’t tell”). I get the idea that Ankh-Morpork is probably pretty similar when it comes to England, but as someone who doesn’t know much about British politics, its pretty hard to pin down. The rights of kings and class stuff I get a bit of, even if I don’t know the specifics, but what about the guilds? Was wondering if anyone from the UK had some thoughts on the political implications of Ankh-Morpork they want to share, or where I could read more about it, would be appreciated.
Hi, all! I've been a fan of the novel series for years, and now I'm starting to crawl my way into the supplementary material. Can someone tell me if there's a difference between the AM Archives or the self-proclaimed 'Compleat Ankh-Morpork'? Does Compleat collect the Archives, or do they contain new material?

Back in the days when Terry Pratchett died I heard that there will be no reprint of his games. Anyway I found a link with all components of the game in pdf and good resolution, so they can be printed in a 3D printer. Does someone knows where I can find such pdfs again, cause I guess the time to print it for myself come 😅
This has always interested me. How does Ankh Morpork compete economically? What is it‘s Gdp? What is their import/export relationship?
What I‘ve gathered so far seems to show, that Ankh is mostly built on consume, importing almost everything from everywhere and exporting almost nothing. Exept interestingly enough they do export infrastructure. The Hygenic Railway and the Clacks both are immensely profitable and important companies Ankh distributed in the world.
What do you guys think? Is there any good they do export?
