The world is in peril. Legends live, fairy tales walk, and fantasies become reality, threatening to turn Earth into a waking nightmare. When the flames of war reach Japanβs shores, the vestiges of a shattered nation fail to protect what remains of its people against an unknown enemy, and all seems lost. Those left behind and those that failed to flee now live in scattered communities among the remnants of a better time. Yu Ichinose is just another survivor, a quiet, scrawny middle-schooler trying to get by. That is, until he finds his fate bound to a mysterious, elvish girl who seems to hold the key to hope. Now, the time has come to stand and take up the sword against sorcery. To become the hero who saves the world. The time has come to awaken the Asura Frame.

... keep reading on reddit β‘so back in october i was watching the opening of riyadh season on tv and noticed a sign that said anime expo jan 20-22. i think many others did because i saw multiple comments on saudianimeexpos social media. but ive never heard any announcement or tickets, or anything about this on the riyadh season website. can anyone explain what this is?
Si no...
I could say the few people who were supposed to go with me flaked but imma be fr im a closet weeb so none of my friends even know they think im going to new york just to go to new york. I was thinking how depressing it would be to go alone and stand in line alone. So if anyone is 17 or a year younger or older and also doesn't have anyone to go to NY anime expo with i'd be hella down to meet up with you there im 17 btw.
So I'm moving to one of the coasts in the near future. Part of me wants to live near some good convention centers.
I understand Toronto has fan expo, but Seattle (nearby) has Pax west. Then again, there's Boston with Pax east
I want to be in a city that has a lot of good-sized conventions. How does vancouver(and area) compete with toronto(and area).
I fucking hate snow, so that's kind of why I don't want to live in Toronto. But vancouver looks gloomy and quiet.
anyone else seeing the insane technical difficulties?

He soon finds, however, that his abilities are not all they're cracked up to be, and that the talents of the rare first monster he is granted lie not in combat...but gardening! Already well behind the other adventurers, and facing a long and slow progression path ahead of him, Yuta is left with two choicesβstart over from scratch, or make the best of what he has been given.
