A list of puns related to "Andrew Garfield"
I know we got lucky to see them again in NWH but for some reason I have a feeling this won't be the last time we will see the old Spider-Men. I doubt we will get a Spider-Man 4 or an Amazing Spider Man 3 but maybe we will see them again in the New Spider Man trilogy. It seems like Andrew is still interested in playing him.
Personally I love all the Spider-Man movies, even TASM2 and SP3 so I would love to see as much as they will give us!
To me it just doesn't seem like Toby would work whatsoever, and Tom kind of just feels inappropriate due to how kid like he is. Not to mention I've always sort of felt like his Spider-Man was the only one who had jokes on the same level as Ryan Reynolds.
So I was listening to the Andrew Garfield interview on the βHappy Sad Confusedβ podcast today (which is well worth it by the way, he seems like a genuinely lovely dude) and he talked in depth about a very spoilery detail which I wonβt go into now but if you know you knowβ¦. (The details are handily summarised in this article if anyone is interested https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/benhenry/andrew-garfield-no-way-home-doordash-delivery)
Anyway one of the things he mentioned was being in Atlanta and hanging out with one of his best mates who was also filming TWD at the time. I havenβt watched the show in years but I couldnβt for the life of me work out who this was, anyone got any ideas? It would have been late Oct 2020 so that would have coincided with the filming of last 6 episodes of season 10.
Further to that it also got me thinking about that friendship group in general. I know Andrew Garfield and Charlie Cox go way back, (in fact there are some adorably geeky pictures of the two of them together in their early twenties if you care to google it), and that group also included Eddie Redmayne and Jamie Dornan. I wondered if Iβm missing anyone and if there was any tea, or are they all as wholesome as they seem?
In the new interview of him with Entertainment Tonight he was mainly talking about his reaction towards being returning as one of his favourite CB character and how he loved being a part of Spider-Man NWH and working alongside with Tobey and Tom. He also said about passing of his mother(RIP) prior to his awesome movie Tick Tick Boom and how it affected him in a good way. Then the host and AG were talking about his career before acting, how he struggled a lot while getting a chance for acting where he mentioned that he coached cricket in his 20s and that was unexpected. I know he knows about cricket, I've seen a video of him promoting TASM2 in IPL i think and if i remember he played some beautiful shots too. After finding out that he coached in Cricket, i find it interesting to share this with everyone.

Saw Now Way home and was really struck by Garfield's Peter. He seemed so real, so close to the source material and genuinely felt like a living person going through personal trauma. Is it consistent with movies in which he got a lead role, or did they adjust his character a bit just for this one?
