A list of puns related to "American Ninja Warrior"
I am working on building all 230 full courses from ANW (American Ninja Warrior) Seasons 1-12 and all 37 Sasuke Ninja Warrior (Japanese Version) tournaments courses. I hope someone sees this and i really want to get CaptainSparklez to play it when iβm done with it, itβll take about 2-3 maybe 4 months. Please try to get this to him so heβll know about it!
Seeing as the ladies are incredible athletes and extremely fit wondering how much it would be to create an obstacle type course and hold a LFC competition between the girls. (If they would be interested) It might add some fun competition and would show off some of their talents and athleticism outside the ring. And could maybe open it up to other ladies outside of LFC to get some more exposure. Just a thought.
Love me some $BOTY !!!!
One of my biggest problems with American Ninja Warrior is how overly complicated it has become over the past 5 to 6 years. One area that perfectly represents this is the profile pieces before a competitor runs the course. In the older seasons there werenβt nearly as many profile pieces and the ones we did get were entertaining and short. Now literally every competitor has a profile piece and at times are longer than the actual run itself. Worst of all is that NBC has turned it into The Voice where everyone either has to push an agenda down our throats or have a βtragicβ backstory from my dog died to literally showing a child having a seizure. Right now they add nothing to a show about running on a Japanese inspired obstacle course. To fix this, firstly I would significantly cut down the amount of profiles to make room for more runs. Secondly completely remove the drama from the profiles. Thirdly give a very brief description of who the competitor is and what they do, followed by how they train for Ninja Warrior and any prior history they have on the show. Keep the focus on how the competitor relates to Ninja Warrior and not on personal filler. Lastly no more than 30 seconds to at most a minute with each profile and have it smoothly transition into their run. The main goal with this post is that I want to see a return to form for American Ninja Warrior and keeping the focus on what the show is at its core, an obstacle course. There are so many other problems I have with the show from the unnecessarily large amount of audience shots, to the cringey commentary, and the increasing focus on competitor vs competitor as opposed to the competitor vs the course, but for now I wanted to focus on the profiles. I like this show but I feel like it keeps getting worse every season and I want to see it get better. I know this post probably wonβt make a difference but hey a man can dream.
One day, my wife was watching anw and there was female contestant. A little on the short side I believe. As she was going through the course, one of the announcers began to comment on how things would be difficult for her due to her size; all while she was blazing past the obstacles. During one of these the second announcer interrupts the commentary to shout βyou were saying!?β My wife quotes this all the time and regrets me not being there to see it as it was a random episode playing on cable. Does anyone possibly know which episode this moment is from?
Thatβs what he said when he saw a Mom finish the course. I am nowhere near that physical level, but if he thinks Iβm capable of that I better start training!

While we've all be waxing nostalgic over AOTS, TSS, XPlay/Extended play etc. Let's not forget one of the BIGGEST SUCCESSES and largest franchises that originated on G4: American Ninja Warrior. This series has made its way to prime network TV on NBC and is still airing today.
ANW continues to have a large cult following outside of the core G4 audience, with people of all ages working out in independent training gyms across the country in hopes of obtaining a coveted competitors slot. Almost all the original G4 personalities had made an appearance on the set of either ANW, American Ninja Challenge, or the original "Ninja Warrior" Sasuke in Japan. This was one of the best things to come out of G4 studios and the people that made it happen deserve massive fan appreciation.
If the New G4 were to syndicate any show in the future, I'd love to see more Sasuke with the original whitelabel of Ninja Warrior on top of it. But I also hope they have a spin-off supporting series of American Ninja Warrior... like a training camp, Juniors, Teams, etc that is exclusive to the network. (NBC has tried all of these formats, but they didn't get the viewership needed to sustain a spot in their network lineup). Seeing ANW brand back on G4 would give me a lot of joy and make me have a lot of faith in the new channel.
