Especially in hindsight, back in her All That/Amanda Show days, she was just a weird, cringey, over-the-top slapstick "actress". It wasn't cute. Move forward mid-2000s, she tries to lock down the relatable girl-next-door schtick, but it's still just weird, bad acting. She's the Man in particular was awful to watch. Her final roles somehow became even more soulless and less funny. It's sad what has happened to her since, but even in her prime I've just never understood the appeal.

It’s so freaking hilarious and suggest y’all give at least one of them a watch. It really gives you a fresh take without the nostalgia glasses.

I loved She’s the Man and What a Girl wants back in the day, but yeeeessshh, they did not age well, and I’m pretty sure these movies planted the seeds of the “I’m not like other girls” into kids😂
