A list of puns related to "Alpha Chi Rho"
"A Syracuse University fraternity, suspended in 2019 over allegations of racist behavior, had no role in the incident in question and was not given a fair shot to defend itself against punishment, a state Supreme Court Justice ruled Wednesday.
Alpha Chi Rho must be reinstated as a SU fraternity immediately, Judge Scott DelConte ruled in a nine-page opinion.
βThe record is clear: Alpha Chi Rho did nothing wrong,β DelConte wrote.
Instead, it was an SU administrator who erred in overturning a university appeals board decision that had reinstated the fraternity over a year ago, the judge ruled.
That administrator, E. Dolan Evanovich, SUβs senior vice president of enrollment and the student experience, had rejected the βclear and well-reasoned decisionβ made by the Appeals Board in reversing the fraternityβs suspension, DelConte wrote."
TL;DR college administrator arbitrarily ignored the finding of no wrongdoing on the part of a Fraternity and got shut down by a state Supreme Court Justice

Sorry I was late to posting this, classes started today and I spent almost 24 hours traveling prior
Alright, so a lot of shit went down last year, especially with SAE, so weβre gonna kick this shit off right by re-roasting the fuck out of everyone. Schedule is listed below, weβll have one roast a day, posted around noon EST:
Rules: Only roast the fraternity in question. Comments such as βWho?β, βIβve never heard of themβ, and βWe donβt have them at my schoolβ arenβt roasts. Some fraternities are large in certain regions and absent in others, just because you havenβt heard of one, doesnβt mean theyβre not dominant in other areas.
Please remember this is for fun. Donβt take it too seriously when your fraternity gets roasted: youβll have a chance to roast back.

Smaller Fraternities will be grouped afterwards and by request
I heard it's because someone fell of their balcony and died 2 years ago. Is this true?
Come and join Hillel and Alpha Chi Rho for hamantashen baking to kick off our Purim festivities on Tuesday March 3rd.
Meet at the RPI student union horseshoe at 7:15 pm for a ride to Alpha Chi Rho's house. The event starts at 7:30 pm
Thereβs a story without words on my keychain, a metal square alluding to finer detail with latin peeking out from behind superimposed text, βBook of Kells.β When I saw the Chi-Rho page in person, it was the first piece of art that struck me with the thought: this is something a camera will never be able to capture. Although I had been to England years before that moment, despite every piece of art I had seen in London over my months there, this thought had never entered my mind with conviction. So, this moment was the most memorable of my entire trip to Ireland. The rest seemed almost intangible by comparison, but this was a memory with weight, and it was heavy. It was also not why I was in Ireland.
A couple days before visiting Trinity College, I had been at a castle in the countryside, attending my brotherβs handfasting ceremony. I would be lying if I said I remembered more of the ceremony than walking outside, past the horse stables, through the muddy grass that was just a bit too tall for my flats, and eventually coming upon a small henge. I would also be lying if I said that finding the henge was magical, because the rocks were terribly new. Old castle, new rocks. Old traditions, new conventions. I remember two things from the handfasting: the care in which their hands were tied and not remembering what a limerick was afterward. Thereβs a more than small amount of shame looking back on that moment and it wasnβt until then that I realized what was happening.
There is this mistaken idea of what depression is, I think. That itβs being sad and tired, and thatβs about it. If you take a moment to think about what being βdepressedβ means, you might get a closer understanding: being pulled down, a reduction in ability. I wasnβt sad; I wasnβt even terribly tired, but my ability to process what was happening, use basic reasoning, encode memories, was greatly reduced. That time is like trying to see far off shapes during a snowstorm, a messy endeavour when you are also standing in the storm. Much like you canβt choose when a storm comes along, you canβt plan when depression will roll over you. You can plan for a storm, but if you fail to recognize the signs, youβre left caught out, battling against the elements for control. I was caught out, standing like an idiot at the reception, with a pen in my hand, and snow in my head.
I wondered later, looking at the key page in its controlled case under customized lighting to keep the pages from further degrading,
... keep reading on reddit β‘Iβm just wondering what people think of this. I just had a student ask me about it and I donβt really know what to tell them the general perspective on it is. Iβm in rho chi but I donβt know what kind of impression it makes on other people. What are the implications for residencies or jobs?
That is it. That is all I want to be truly happy

My question relates to the usage of the Chi-Rho symbol in medieval times. Was it solely used in the Byzantine empire? Or did the Catholic church use it as well? Let's say the time period would be 800 - 1400.
Hello!
i am an English Hellenophile, having visited the exquisitely beautiful Ionian islands twice (Corfu and Kefalonia) and am fascinated by your great country's history and mythology. I must apologise however because I do not speak Greek :(
I was hoping someone might be able to confirm how to pronounce the Chi Rho (which you may already know is an ancient Christian symbol).
I believe the symbol is a combination of the two Greek letters Chi and Rho, which are also the first two letters in the Greek word for Christ. My question specifically is HOW a Greek person would pronounce those two letters i.e. how to pronounce "XP"? If you could upload an audio file or spell it phonetically I would be very grateful indeed.
Warmest Wishes from Oxford, England.

Just came to my mind. Dunno if Hiro has some deep parallels to Christ but as far as I was able to research, the pronounciation of "Ξ§βΞ‘" in Koine Greek was identical to the "Hiro" we know.
