Hi everyone, I am due in less than four weeks with a baby girl and strongly leaning towards naming her Allison. To me it feels definitive, strong, yet feminine. It also feels surprisingly uncommon right now (which I like) although it is in the top 100.
I know I shouldn't care what others think, but I confidently told a few friends and family members and didn't get such great feedback. Please tell me honestly if I'm making a mistake choosing this name.
I joined the California National Guard Special Forces for one reason and one reason only. To get skills and talents necessary to finally kill Anthony and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. My hatred for them is primal and pure. You would hear no anger in my voice if I spoke about them because the hate I have for them burns clean.
I graduated the Special Forces at the top of my class because my sheer desire to take Anthony and Flea's life. I learned all the combat skills I need to take them out. My hatred for them started when I heard the song "Around The World" and noticed they like totally stole that opening riff from the song "Breadfan." A sin like that cannot go unforgiven. I am God's wrath finally being brought down on the RHCP.

Tired of her, boasting, her boss called her bluff, "OK, Allison, how about Reese Witherspoon?"
"No dramas boss, Reese and I are old friends, and I can prove it." So Allison and her boss fly out to Hollywood and knock on Reese Witherspoon's door, and Reese Witherspoo shouts,
"Allison! What's happening? Great to see you! Come on in for a beer!"
Although impressed, Allison's boss is still skeptical. After they leave Witherspoon's house, she tells Allison that she thinks her knowing Witherspoon was just lucky.
"No, no, just name anyone else," Allison says.
"Melania Trump," her boss quickly retorts.
"Yup," Allison says, "Old friends, let's fly out to Washington," and off they go.
At the White House, Melania spots Allison on the tour and motions her and her boss over, saying, "Allison, what a surprise, I was just on my way to a meeting, but you and your friend come on in and let's have a beer first and catch up."
Well, the boss is very shaken by now but still not totally convinced. After they leave the White House grounds she expresses her doubts to Allison, who again implores her to name anyone else.
"Queen Elizabeth," her boss replies.
"Sure!" says Allison. "I've known Her Majesty for years." So off they fly to London.
Allison and her boss are assembled with the masses at Buckingham Palace when Allison says, "This will never work. I can't catch the Queen's eye among all these people. Tell you what, I know all the guards so let me just go upstairs and I'll come out on the balcony with the Queen." He disappears into the crowd headed towards the Royal Palace.
Sure enough, half an hour later Allison emerges with the Queen on the balcony, but by the time Allison returns, she finds that her boss has had a heart attack and is surrounded by paramedics.
Making her way to her boss' side, Allison asks her, "What happened?"
Her boss looks up and says, "It was the final straw... you and the Queen came out on to the balcony and the man next to me said, 'Who the fuck is that on the balcony with Allison?'
I know it's not the biggest of deals, or even the top of the list of "oopsies" but come on...
Basically only 1 whole season apart, and both fairly important patients. (The first Allison was a cancer patient with Izzy at the end of season 5, who had a big part in Izzy having the surgery her oncologist advised against. Second Allison Clark was the wife of the shooter in season 6.)
Idk. I know both names are common enough where there's probably an assload of em out there, but just seems lazy to reuse it like that.
Is there any proof that the list would be locked or something if there were any wrong tries?
If I were as smart as Lydia and Stiles, the first thing I would do is find the pattern and guess everyone who was already dead.

The couple also has a 3 y/o boy named Maddox and Allison's 11 y/o daughter from a previous relationship named Weslie. They are such a cute family and with a surname like 'Boss' I was very intrigued to see what they chose. I think it's a beautiful name and I've never heard it before.
