Allison Cameron Puns

So, due to the lockdown, I've been thinking about TSCC and some unanswered questions as what if scenarios. In this case, I'd like to write down a possible background for Allison, as well as her "original" relationship with John, and how he pretty much created some sort of "time-loop", sealing Allison and Cameron's fate forever.

So, as we know, Cameron is an Infiltration Unit Terminator. She's meant to be a brand new model that has unique features that make her Skynet's perfect infiltrator. Capable of properly mimicking human emotions, being able to cry and to process food just like any other human. And most importantly: her living tissue is based on someone close to John Connor

As for her human template, she was based on Allison Young, a girl from the Resistance that was known as being close to John Connor, despite their relationship is never mentioned. Derek, despite knowing Cameron's true identity, never mentions that, which would imply he might not even know who Allison was... or maybe he did. Maybe she also meant a lot to him, so that's why he prefers not to dwell to much on the situation and simply rolls with Cameron and the Connor's lifestyle...

Before mentioning more about TSCC, I'd like to remind everyone the complexity of time travels and how the franchise has required this plot to function. Terminator 1 and 2 stablished some sort of time loop in which, thanks to Kyle and the T-800 going back in time to the 80's, they achivied:

a) John Connor ironically being born

b) Sarah becoming the badass she was meant to be in order to properly rise John and prepare him for the future war with the machines.

c) humanity (in this case Cyberdyne) finding the remnants of the T-800, getting a glimpse of the future technology so they could work on it, creating Skynet in the process.

All of this just proves that the time travel that Kyle and the T-800 did in the 80's paved John and Skynet's origins, forever trapped in a neverending loop (or so until the end of Judgement Day, where we're led to believe that destiny can always be changed). Hi everybody! So I gave myself a reading challenge based off the 50 states: For each state I'll be reading a work by an author born in said state, a poet (all native Americans poets. I couldn't find poets for a few states tho so I instead went with a native american historical nonfiction for the states I couldn't find), a fiction, a nonfiction, a historical Nonfiction, and a young adult novel. I have a long-shot Request for a 2022 YouTube upload: episodes of the hit '80s Disney Channel Original Game Show "Teen Win, Lose or Draw."

Created by Jay Wolpert (who died this week at age 79 after a long fight with Alzheimer's Disease), "Teen Win, Lose or Draw" originally aired on Disney Channel from April 29, 1989 - September 26, 1992, with 65 half-hour Episodes Videotaped entirely in 1989 & 1990, respectively, at The Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) in Orlando, Florida.

Hosted by Marc Price (fresh from his run as Irwin "Skippy" Handleman on TV's "Family Ties"), "Teen Win, Lose or Draw" had 2 teams each composed of a Teen Celebrity Guest (e.g. Leonardo DiCaprio and Lecy Goranson) and 2 Teen Contestants per show where the Object was to get their teams to say Words, Names & Phrases by Drawing Pictures, with the Team with the most Points at Game's End winning a Prize Package e.g. a trip to Oasis Water Villa Resort in Palm Springs, California while the Runners-Up won a Cheaper Prize Package e.g. Nintendo NES Video Games from Acclaim.

Each game began with a Clue Puzzle Round where the teams had 60 Seconds to Guess a Series of Clues leading up to a Famous Subject e.g. Kirk Cameron; this was followed by a Phrase Round, where the teams had 60 or less Seconds to Communicate a Phrase from a Particular Category e.g. Disney Movies, with a sample Phrase being "The Sword in the Stone."

As with the original, grown-up "Win, Lose or Draw" (of which this series served as a Spin-Off), each game ended with a 90-Second Speed Round to Determine the Prize Package winners; on occasion, depending on time, several episodes featured an Audience Round where a Teen Studio Audience Member drew a Subject e.g. a Pinball in 60 Seconds or less to get $25 Disney Dollars (later amended to the home game "Win, Lose or Draw Junior," advertised as the official "Teen Win, Lose or Draw" Home Game).

**After Jay Wolpert left the show after the first season of 39 half-hour episodes, he was succeeded as Showrunner by the duo of Scott Stone & David Stanley (producing the show for Disney as Stone Stanley Productions) for the 2nd season of 26 half-hour episodes Videotaped in 1990 at The Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida; simultaneously, a trio of Disney Channel Mouseketeers--Brandy Brown, Chase Hampton, and the recently-Deceased Tiffini Hale (who died very young on Christmas Day at ag

• The girl Cameron kissed at the dance was his ex-gf. And the kiss was far more innocent from Cameron's end than the movie shows.

• After Cameron leaves a voice-mail on Oscar's phone, he finds Hawkins lying in the road. He almost vomits, but tries to help and screams for help. He then does call 911...and while Cameron talks to dispatch, Hawkins look at the moon, it reminds him of a certain white mask, and he closes his eyes and thinks back to when he first saw it: flashback scene from 1978.

• Halloween night 1978, Lonnie picked on another boy, Conrad, and stole his gobstopper. Conrad, I one of the boys with Lonnie at the Myers House earlier that night when Loomis scares Lonnie.

• The 3 kids messing with Lonnie are Conrad's older siblings. Conrad told them what Lonnie did, so they were getting even for what Lonnie did earlier.

• Lonnie thinks to himself that he didn't know why he did what he did to Conrad, that his mom tells him he "acts on impulse." Perhaps foreshadowing his death.

• Allison blames her mother for her dad's death, and for not believing Laurie.

• The firefighter who fell through the floor st Laurie's, Benton, was an 11 year veteran firefighter. When he realizes the door open, he is described as seeing something that didn't seem human, a monster, who studied him (Benton) like a scientist would a new insect. Except Benon realizes it isn't him that the man wasn't looking at him so much, but his focus was on the halligan bar. Michael grabs it, and stares at it briefly, admiring it's design.

• Michael's view on killing is described as:

"He forgets about them both the instant their corpses hit the ground. In his world there is only meat. And meat is divided into two types: that which moves and that which doesn't. Once he has transformed the former into latter, they are of no importance to him. He is a thing of darkness and wherever there is an absence of light, for whatever reason, he is home. Breathing sears his nasal passages, burns his throat, makes his lungs ache, but these sensations are of no importance and he ignores them."

• Nurse Chambers remained a nurse but left Smiths Grove after the 1978 assault during Michael's escape.

• Lindsay is a florist in town. She is twice divorced and has a college aged son in CA that doesn't call her.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

Hi everybody! So I gave myself a reading challenge based off the 50 states: For each state I'll be reading a work by an author born in said state, a poet (all native Americans poets. I couldn't find poets for a few states tho so I instead went with a native american historical nonfiction for the states I couldn't find), a fiction, a nonfiction, a historical Nonfiction, and a young adult novel. So in total I'll be reading 6 books for each state. It took me a good while to find all the books I wanted for each category but I've finally done it!! That being said, I had the thought that it might be fun to get another category going- suggestions or favorites from everybody on here. So would everybody give me their suggestions of their favorite books set in each state, or just books that you think would fit perfect with this challenge, please and thank you!!
