It's the first of the month so we have another batch of price changes. According to the "How to Become a Contract Liquor Agent" document, "The Agent must also complete price changes that occur at the first of the month..."

There are a staggering number of changes this month including 162 removed products/sizes. In many cases, only one size bottle has been removed. In addition, many more products had their status changed from De-Listed to Inactive or to De-Listed. In order to fit within the character limits of reddit posts I'm going to have to split this post into multiple replies below. It'll take me some time to get it all added and it might not be complete until later today.

For each category I've sorted by the amount of the price increase or decrease. New products are shown first, then price decreases are shown in decreasing order followed by price increases in increasing order. At the end are products with other changes unrelated to price.

Current product status is indicated on each line as follows. OHLQ hasn't publicly explained what these things mean but I've included my best guess below.

Erik Kreil brings the heat with his analysis of ACL injuries and Saquon Barkley’s 2021 dynasty outlook.

Everyone loves a comeback story, except in fantasy football it seems.  Saquon Barkley burst onto the scene after being drafted #2 overall in 2019.  Since then, Saquon accumulated 3,469 all-purpose yards, 23 all-purpose touchdowns, and 143 receptions in his first 2 healthy seasons.  However, fantasy managers have been divided into 2 camps after the crazy 2020 year when he suffered an early ACL injury: the stead-fast Saquon truthers and the doomsday negative Nancies, who believe the injury will have a permanent effect on his fantasy value. What will happen?  Will Saquon Barkley have an Adrian Peterson-esque return, or is his career on the clock?

We’re going to primarily reference 2 research papers:

• “Return to Play Rates in NFL Wide Receivers and Running Backs After ACL Reconstruction” by Monoharan et al. from The Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine in 2021.
• “National Football League Skilled and Unskilled Positions Vary in Opportunity and Yield in Return to Play After an Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury” by Yang et al. from the Orthopedic Journal of Sports Medicine in 2017.

Both of these papers analyze career length and 2 year post-operative player performance, so we’ll limit our commentary to these 2 topics.  Since they also give data on WRs, I’m including Courtland Sutton in this commentary.  Sutton is an intriguing dynasty dark horse and may be overlooked in redraft leagues.

Here’s why this commentary is different than others I’ve read:

Analyzing only a recent athlete cohort is important.

Surgical techniques, rehab protocols, NFL rules/ play style, and the athletes themselves have all changed notably, which is why I like the data from the first reference the best.  It analyzes injured athletes from 2009/2010-2015/2016.  This is recent enough to be comparable to current athletes while being distant enough to see many players’ full career arcs.

John Augustus Sutter nacque nel 1803 in Svizzera, nel cantone Francese. La California all'epoca faceva parte dell'Impero Messicano, ed era chiamata "Alta California" per distinguerla dalla Penisola di Bassa California, ancora oggi in Messico. Era un territorio poco popolato: pensate che la città più popolata era San Francisco con ben 1000 abitanti. Una volta arrivato in California, Sutter ottenne il permesso da parte dello Stato Messicano di fondare una città. O meglio, di costruire una cittadella fortificata, che Sutter riuscì a vendere al Governatore della California come punto d'appoggio per i commerci.

No surprises here, Russ and Geno are back again while McGough and Etling find themselves on the wrong side of the dotted line. If the Seahawks were a team that carried three QBs I would put my money on McGough who seems to just stick around but I don’t see that happening.

Running Back

Keep: Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, Travis Homer, and Josh Johnson

Cut: Alex Collins, B.J. Emmons and Deejay Dallas

Carson and Penny seem pretty locked in here, but I’m not totally sold on the depth behind them. Dallas and Homer have been fairly unimpressive in their relatively young careers. I’ll put my neck out and say that one of the two UDFAs make the team ahead of Dallas only because they carry a more similar skillset than to that of Homer.

Fullback

Keep: Nick Bellore

Cut:

With Bellore being the only fullback on the roster, this one was easy. Bellore’s role is more on special teams than anything and he does it superbly well. If you’re looking for a replacement I think you’re going to be sadly mistaken.

Wide Receiver

Keep: DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, D’Wayne Eskridge, Freddie Swain, Tamorrion Terry, Cade Johnson

Cut: Penny Hart, John Ursua, Aaron Fuller, Darvin Kidsy, Cody Thompson, and Connor Wedington

DK and Tyler are both studs, Eskridge is a 2nd rounder, they’re all set. After that, I decided to roll the dice on two new guys in Terry and Cade only because they were both priority UDFAs, and experience in the offense is kind of irrelevant now that Waldron is in town so Ursua kind of loses that upper hand. With all things being equal, I just think Terry and Cade might just be more appealing because of their lack of game tape versus (Seahawks fan favourite) Ursua’s relatively unimpressive game tape. Terry also provides some size that the WR room would be lacking outside of DK. Swain sticks around because he showed some stuff at times and might fit Waldron’s offense as he was particularly adept at those crossers that the rams are known for.

I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.

When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."

From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"

Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
