The Haouken Xross Saber (刃王剣ハオウケンクロスセイバー十聖刃, Haōken Kurosu Seibā, lit. "Blade King Sword Cross Saber/10 Holy Swords")[1][2] is the transformation device and Seiken of Kamen Rider Xross Saber. It is formed by uniting all of the Seiken. The Xross Saber is also referred to as the Ultimate Seiken (究極の聖剣, Kyūkyoku no Seiken, Lit. "Ultimate Holy Sword").

History

All the 11 Seiken uniting to manifest Haouken Xross Saber

When Touma and his team battling with Isaac, he says that the swords have their own feelings, and after that, all the swordsmen route their Seiken to the sky and unite their powers to form Haouken Xross Saber. Using the sword, Touma transforms into Xross Saber, and defeats Solomon.

To pause the further encrouchment of the Wonder World via Kamen Rider Storious' The End of The World, Touma performed a Haou Xross Seiretsuzan and threw the Haouken Xross Saber to the giant stone sword's crossguard, resulting in an energy wave that spread.

A year after Storious was defeated, Touma finished a manuscript, and went outside of the replica of Fantastic Bookstore Kamiyama. The camera pans out to reveal the newly created Wonder World, with a giant stone version of Haouken Xross Saber plunged to the ground, in place of the previous giant stone sword.

Design

The Haouken Xross Saber is composed of the following parts:

Haou Sword Grip (ハオウソードグリップ, Haō Sōdo Gurippu): The handle. Using the power of the wielder who unites the ten Seiken, it brings a powerful power that shakes the galaxy.

Haou Trigger (ハオウトリガー, Haō Torigā): The trigger. It plays the role of a starter in various attacks, and activates special moves by trigger operation.

Haouken Xross Saber Emblem (刃王剣十聖刃エンブレム, Haouken Kurosu Seibā Enburemu, lit. Blade King Sword Ten Holy Swords Emblem): The source of the power of the united Seiken. By sliding the ring Great Cirxross (グレートサークロス, Gurēto Sākurosu) located in the emblem, the blade can generate an element of one of the ten Seiken and manifest it as an att

Today marks the end of Saber (at least TV broadcasts-wise) but there seems to be upcoming V-Cinema on the way (Espada upgrade???) so it's not quite over yet.

GOOD:

• Really Good Opening (Top 5 all time Kamen Rider for me post-Showa) and Ending (likely to be one of the few Kamen Rider EDs for a good while) by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra & Yoohei Kawakami

• Sword Choreography was solid all season long thanks to Koichi Sakamoto

• Suit design was mostly solid (especially Dragonic Knight) for all the riders except Master Logos/Storius (and to an extent Saber's recolored final form) and having DX for each Rider's weapons was dope to have instead of simply wonder ride books + belt. Same goes for the Wonder Ride Book sounds/music voiced by the amazing Akio Ōtsuka (Blackbeard/Marshall D Teach in One Piece; Dragonic Knight and Kin no Buki Gin no Buki are my favorite book 'themes')

• The return of down bad due to the pandemic Michelin Sushi Chef Genta Umemori (after 12 years) Victor Isaac/Master Logos. I found him to be a pretty intriguing character until at least up to his >!death!<. Manipulation was a pretty prevalent theme of the series, moreso than most in recent years.

• Characters compared to Ghost (since both were done by the same writer) were more relatable/enjoyable to see (not counting Ren) like Daishinji, Yūri and (formerly bitchslapping Sophia-manipulative mastermind to) extreme hothead Reika

BAD:

• Plot felt uninteresting/slow at times (but pacing was most fine)

• Villains other than Storius, Desast and Master Logos felt pretty monotonous throughout the series and it was hard at times to stay engaged

Overall from start to finish, I'd probably rate Saber a 7.5/10, good enough for about average (relative to other series). A lot of people didn't like Saber early on because of its very predictable plot but luckily it picked up a lot once we had the debut of Saikou. The main characters were mostly likeable (except Ren) so I never felt sick of seeing them during their screentime though some characters (like Legiel, Zooous and Desast) definitely could have been fleshed out more. And in general from writer Takuro Fukuda, Saber was at least much better than Ghost so I already enjoyed the season by default. Not gonna lie though, it was a struggle to wait week by week at the beginning so it'll be much more digestible for those that are gonna binge watch it later on. Here's to hoping the V-Cinema will flesh out the plot well l

I liked Kenji Nomura’s voice for Yujiro but holy fucking shit Akio Ōtsuka is so much better!

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Shigaraki gets possessed by All for One?

On the one hand, Kōki Uchiyama/Eric Vale continuing to play Shigaraki would be the more realistic route. Plus, how creepy would it be to hear such a scratchy voice suddenly speak with such maturity and confidence?

On the other hand, the possession has already been represented with visual metaphors, like AfO’s face appearing out of a head wound, so I could see Studio Bones going for an audio cue by switching to Akio Ōtsuka/John Swasey.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
