A list of puns related to "Adrian Barber"
Ok, yeah, I know... start your studs. However, it sounds like Peterson is going to be splitting carries with Gerhart so I'm not sure he is really the right choice. I'm also not liking Barber against a Seattle defense that has been pretty solid.
Benson and Jones both have good match-ups so I will most likely play them, does anyone want to try and talk me out of it?
Looking for my two backs and my flex. We do aggregate playoffs and I lost by 32 last week (opponent had ridiculous luck) so I need to win by 33 points!
Also, Brent Celek or Jermaine Gresham?

I really enjoyed doing my Super Bowl losing Quarterbacks ranking (thanks to everybody who followed that) so I definitely wanted to do another one. Since my last two series both focused on quarterbacks, I wanted to do another position this time, so I thought it would be fun to rank the lead rusher of every team that won the Super Bowl.
The term "lead rusher" refers to the player who gained the most rushing yards of any player on the team during the year that team won the Super Bowl. In the case of every Super Bowl winning team, that player is always either a running back or a fullback. In some cases, one back gets more carries or touchdowns, or a different back will take the lead in the playoffs, but the player included on the list is the one who got the most rushing yards during the regular season. However, I am ranking the players based on their entire careers and not just the Super Bowl season. In cases where the same player led more than one Super Bowl winning team in rushing yards, that player will receive one entry for their entire career, not separate entries for each season. Because of several repeats, a total of 43 men have led the 55 Super Bowl winning teams in rushing.
To make this ranking easier, I've divided it into four tiers: The Bottom Tier (43-31), the Mid Tier (30-21), the Top Tier (20-11), and the Hall of Fame Tier (10-1). This is the first post in the series, the bottom tier. I will begin working on the Mid Tier post and post it as soon as it is ready, probably some time in the next week. In future posts, I will link to the previous posts at the bottom.
Let's begin.
43. Jonas Gray, 2014 New England Patriots (89 attempts, 412 yards, 5 touchdowns)
The most shocking thing I discovered while researching this ranking was that Jonas βThe One Game Wonderβ Gray actually led the 2014 Patriots in rushing yards. I said that I was ranking them based on their entire careers and not the Super Bowl season, but in Grayβs case his entire career basically was the 2014 season. Gray grew up in Detroit, played college football at Notre Dame, and was not selected in the 2012 Draft. He did not make any rosters his rookie year, and spent the 2013 season on the Ravensβ practice squad.
Gray was picked up by the Patriots prior to the 2014 season. He did not make the final roster, but was signed to their practice squad. The Patriots began the season with Shane Vereen as their starting RB, with Stevan Ridley backing him up. Gray was prom

Yes, the walking corpse of Big Ben is somehow still fantasy-relevant, and he could come through for fantasy managers in a crucial Week 14 matchup. Ben will travel to take on the Vikings, who have given up the 5th-most fantasy points to QBs in 2021. Ben has actually been pretty consistent this season, but the ceiling just hasnβt been there.
~
He has at least 200 passing yards in 10-straight games, at least 1 passing touchdown in all 11 games this season, to go with just 6 total interceptions. Among QBs with at least 10 games played, only 3 QBs (Cousins, Wentz, Rodgers) have logged fewer interceptions. Heβs posted a solid floor all season long, and will be in position to take advantage of a Vikings defense that has given up the 3rd-most yards to WRs this season.

A much more risky option for Week 14, Cam may have found his way back onto your waivers after the horrific Week 12 performance led into his Week 13 bye. However, the upside is definitely there against a struggling Falcons defense. The Falcons have given up the 2nd-most fantasy points to QBs in 2021, and theyβve been a great matchup to target for streaming QBs.
~
They have caused the leagueβs fewest sacks (15), and have forced close to the leagueβs fewest interceptions (6), while allowing the 3rd-most passing touchdowns (25). Cam has a rushing touchdown in each of his 3 games this season, and should be even more of a focal point around the goal-line, in the absence of McCaffrey. While the offense will no doubt struggle as a whole, and Cam will have his ugly statlines, Week 14 presents a matchup with some serious upside.

even though this might get some downvotes I wanted to say a very good bye to this great community and M43 for me.
Since I enjoyed the overall positivity here very much I feel the need to give not an excuse but an explanation of what let to my decision.
This could be a long one. Thanks in advance to everyone who is reading this. I was typing this while waiting for my flight back from Iceland where I took the last images with my G9:
I tried to categorize the parts. Feel free to skip them if your are not interested. There are also some images in this post to loosen things up a little.
TL;DR:
>!M43 is an amazing system but after a few years of growing with it I decided to need a change. I bought a Sony A7IV. Iβll still be around for a while posting shots from my G9. And I will be even longer around as a visitor to your great content.!<
My photography journey started on the job. Lets just say part of it is photographing crime scenes. Not journalistically. The images I take arenβt pretty and they surely donβt have to be. The focus is always dead center (pun morbidly intended). There is no artistic element to this. But you need to be able to take shots in every condition and know how to handle different lighting situations to best capture the scene.
I do this for 6 years now. I got equipped with a then brand new Canon 80D with some rally nice glass. Even a 100mm f2.8 IS USM L (not that I knew what kit I was handling there at that time). Meanwhile this got upgraded to a 90D.
I didnβt knew anything about photography back then. I had some training but it was mostly worthless. If you are not practicing daily with the settings and what they do then βApertureβ and βFocal Legnthβ are just words with no meaning.
But by boss encouraged us to take our gear home and practice in our free time if we wanted to. So I did and took my girlfriend, now wife, to some fancy places and started shooting. Oof that sweet out of focus background. Stunning! My wife loved it. I loved it. Im ready to dump some money on this.
Here is the very first shot that comes up in my Lightroom archive back in 2016. My in-laws have a bird sanctuary. Shot

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hi everyone,
Inspired by this tweet from Secret Base, I decided to put together a post endeavoring to contextualize the last 8 games that Jonathan Taylor has had from a statistical standpoint. The tweet very clearly shows Taylor is in rarified air, but there have been a lot of great RB/OL combos to generate a lot of productive seasons, so I took the opportunity to look at some other dominant 8-game stretches in NFL history and present them in an easy-to-absorb format.
Taylor has amassed 1,203 scrimmage yards in his last 8 games; a shade over 150 scrimmage yards per game. How many times has the 150 ypg mark been reached in an 8-game stretch in NFL history? The answer is probably more times than you think! How many of those stretches were part of MVP campaigns? The answer is probably...fewer times than you think.
As I hinted, all of these stretches were nestled in single seasons (none that start in one season and end in the next). None were interrupted by absences mid-season (i.e. all take place in 8-week stretches, plus byes). I also did not "double down" on any of these (i.e. no overlapping stretches from the same player). I don't want to overstuff this post with preliminary items, so if anyone has any questions or other 8-game stretches they want to highlight, I'd love to hear them in the comments...otherwise, hope you enjoy!

Rocky is one of my favorite all time movies. I saw it in theatres when it first came out and the rags to riches plot (though not the boxing itself, which is barbaric and violent) and music resonated with me.
Years ago I read of the Philly magazine reporter who connected all the movie plot points from Rocky 2 into an ultramarathon race course. This is the video link of that infamous run.
That article went viral, which led to another article and a very kind person Rebecca Shaeffer, now Rebecca Barber volunteered to actually put on the Rocky race. Sheβs incredibly nice and has been organizing this non-race ever since. But back then I thought thatβs crazy, who would ever voluntarily run more than a marathon? Then I did just that, and the crazy part become the normal part, and I got sucked deeply into the ultra world.
But the timing between work and family never worked to do the Rocky run. This year, the stars seemed aligned and I might be able to participate. I didnβt train for a 50k but I had kept up my fitness after significant distance ultras over the past year. Only in the past week did it become more possible, which meant my taper was exactly two days. Just in case I could go, I ordered my Rocky uniform grey sweats and red sweatband that arrived the next day.
The race started on Saturday morning, December 4th at 7am. I got the family ok to go on Friday late afternoon, which meant booking the hotel on Friday at 5pm and on the road with the family at 715pm for the drive from NYC to Philadelphia. Did I mention this was a fun run? So no time or finish pressure. Just run like itβs a casual long run (albeit a 50k long run) and itβs also a fatass ultra, so bring your own water, food and course map since there are no aid stations or closed streets. Also, no entry fee, no bib and no t shirt or medal. Only fun adventures await!
We arrive in Philly around 930pm and weβre hungry. So my daughter and I go hunt for food near our hotel in C

The age of 29 may seem fairly arbitrary, and that's because it is. Players can experience difficulty finding a role in the NFL earlier (Todd Gurley at age 27), but when someone who had a great career just can't even escape the practice squad at age 29 (Le'Veon Bell), it may be a reasonable indication of both mileage and wear/tear on the body. You can use this to key in on backfields that may have occupancies soon (or now). Older players may be more prone to injuries if given more work. For instance, Atlanta is not a good RB offense by any means, but they're starting 28yo Mike Davis and 30yo Cordarrelle Patterson, which may leave the door open for someone to take over some rushing work in the future. The Giants' backup RB situation is fluid, but both backups are on the older side and Saquon recently returned from his injury. History indicates that probably some small subset of these guys will sustain a career into their early 30's, but guessing who will is a tough game to play.
###Note: Ages are as of 12/31/2021, as given by Pro Football Reference.
Players currently listed as running backs in the NFL, at least 29 years old, sorted by age (oldest first, age in parentheses):
#####RBs (Starters and Backups)
Bold indicates starter(s) or a significant share of an RBBC, Italics indicate backup, i.e., would likely inherit a decent amount of work in case of injury to the starter
Mark Ingram (32), David Johnson (29), Rex Burkhead (31), Texans: With Phillip Lindsay (27), easily the oldest backfield in the NFL, perhaps rivaling the Lakers for age. Of these RBs, Ingram and Johnson lead in snaps (Ingram:Johnson:Lindsay:Burkhead = 38%:36%:22%:14%) and Ingram leads in touches by far.
Cordarrelle Patterson (30), Falcons: This year's surprise RB has been WR/KR/PR specialist-turned-RB Patterson. The Pats first tried giving him some carries (42 in the 2018 season) and he did surprisingly well on them (5.4 YPC). Last season, he garnered 64 carries (3.6 YPC) with the Bears, but the Falcons have already given him 21 carries through 3 games as a backup to Mike Davis (28).
Giovani Bernard (29), Buccaneers: A theorized major pass-catching role may have finally materialized, as he caught 9 passes for 51 yards from Tom Brady in Week 3. This comes at the expense of the other RBs on the team in Leonard Fournette (26) and Ronald Jones (24), who have been plagued by various issues, including questions about their reliability a

Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
