Why was Oman able to institute a successful COIN Strategy?
How important was British and other foreign aid to Oman?What did this aid consist of? Foreign troops, weapons, technical support?
What was the support for the rebellion like? Foreign and local.
Considering the fact that Oman was able to turn itself from a low-developed country to a more modern one in the face of a determined insurgency. Why isn't their more recent research about this specific conflict?
And finally is there any recommended readings about this topic?
